I was also impressed with the cleanliness of the rooms; they smelled fresh and well-maintained, which is always a welcome sign. Suggestions: Providing complimentary bottled water daily and basic hygiene kits should be standard. Additionally, a quicker turnaround time for addressing guest needs would significantly improve the overall impression. Overall, Red Planet Makati offers a decent stay for budget-conscious travelers, primarily due to its excellent location and clean rooms. If they address the amenity and response time concerns, it would elevate the experience considerably.

Dear Red Planet Team, I would like to raise a concern regarding an incident that happened during my recent stay. I ordered fruits and water through Grab and left a note for the rider to leave it with the locker security so I could pick it up after my nap. I needed to rest for at least 2 hours since I had just come from a flight and still had to review afterwards. However, about 20 minutes into my sleep, I was suddenly awakened by very loud knocking. When I opened the door, the tall security guard was there holding my order. Instead of handing it politely, he immediately told me that I had taken someone else’s order downstairs. I clarified that I had not gone downstairs because I was sleeping. He then said that the other order contained medicine. I explained again that I had not picked up anything, and in fact, he was already holding my own order of fruits and water. Clearly, there was no mix-up. The way this was handled felt very unprofessional. First, the guard should have double-checked properly before making accusations, especially since some deliveries may contain important items like medicine. Second, the knocking was unnecessarily loud and disturbing. A polite knock (at least twice) would have been enough, and if no one answered, waiting a bit longer would have been more considerate. Lastly, he simply took my Grab code and left without even showing sorry or courtesy after disturbing my rest. This is already my second booking at Red Planet. During my first stay, I was very pleased because the staff were kind and professional, which is why I decided to come back. The receptionists this time were also polite and accommodating. Unfortunately, the behavior of the guard was disappointing and did not reflect the service I experienced before. I hope this feedback helps improve the service and ensures better handling of similar situations in the future. - K
