We had an absolute blast at El Jardin. We stayed in one of the residential suites in the new hotel, and it was incredibly spacious. The children especially loved the loft area—it made the stay even more memorable. We also enjoyed the spa experience, which included a relaxing 90-minute massage, access to the sauna, refreshing welcome pandan water, and soothing ginger lemon tea afterward. It was the perfect way to unwind. The food was excellent. We particularly enjoyed the boodle dinner, which featured delicious liempo, shrimp, chicken, fresh fruits, and vegetables. A special mention goes to our bartender, JL, who was exceptional and always made sure our drinks were never empty. All of the staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely hospitable throughout our stay. Their service made us feel truly welcome. We will definitely be back at El Jardin and look forward to our next visit. Highly recommended for families, couples, and anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Rating: ★★★☆☆ (3/5) El Jardin de Zaida is set in a truly beautiful location. The surroundings are peaceful and scenic, making it a lovely place to unwind. The suite accommodations were also very nice — spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. The food was surprisingly okay. Nothing particularly special or memorable, but definitely good enough to enjoy during the stay. Most of the staff were warm, helpful, and cheerful, which added to the overall experience. However, the girl handling the front desk phone seemed constantly sad and a bit lost whenever she answered calls. It gave the impression that she might need more support or training. Unfortunately, the biggest issue — and the reason for the lower rating — was the flies. There were simply too many. They were everywhere: in the bedroom, living area, dining area, and even in the outdoor toilet. At one point, I couldn’t even use the bathroom without being surrounded by flies. Eating became quite difficult because they would constantly land on the food and table. There were also quite a few mosquitoes, although they weren’t nearly as bad as the flies. Flies are usually a sign that something is off with sanitation or waste management, so this is something the management really needs to address. The property itself has a lot of potential, but the fly problem seriously affected the comfort of the stay. If they can solve this issue, the experience would improve significantly.
