We stayed at the Hotel Bornit for four nights over Easter, and other family members joined us for three, two and one night stays during this time. As well as enjoying Easter we also celebrated my father,s 90th birthday and family had joined us who are local to Wroclaw and others from the UK and other Countries. To be perfectly honest the hotel is not particularly attractive from the outside, however our rooms were allocated all together most having views over the mountains and were relatively large, perhaps slightly old in decor, however perfectly comfortable. Rooms do not have balconies but there is a roof terrace on the 15th floor with loungers and blankets should the weather be cool. Our room had free Wi-Fi, however others could not access a connection so perhaps it depended on the location of the room. Hotel has an excellent pool, bowling alley area, table tennis, pool tables and I believe there was an exercise room however we were told that this was out of service during our stay due to refurbishment. Massage and various spa treatments were also available on request. I have to commend the hotel on their exceptional hospitality and preparation for our family event. We were allocated a separate part of the dining area and the table was beautifully decorated for Easter and immaculately set for each meal. The food was excellent and all of our specific requests for our group were accommodated. On the Saturday evening our group was twenty five plus two children. The hotel had scheduled various activities for the Easter weekend including a barbecue on the rooftop terrace. Hotel is in walking distance to the town, however the walk is quite steep, but also in easy distance of the park and waterfall. Parking is charged and this would appear to be operated by a separate company. Personally, the hotel proved to be an excellent choice for our requirements and I sincerely thank all the staff for making our stay very special.

location of the hotel is good. a bit of a walk up the hill, but still close to city center and walking trails. our room was big but without character. had to ask for cleaning and new towels. breakfast is good, wide variety, some vegetarian options. i would have liked more fruit. dinner is basic, p… more

location of the hotel is good. a bit of a walk up the hill, but still close to city center and walking trails. our room was big but without character. had to ask for cleaning and new towels. breakfast is good, wide variety, some vegetarian options. i would have liked more fruit. dinner is basic, polish food and not really suitable for vegetarians (although I informed them with our reservation). big swimming pool (a bit cold), also okay with kids. and a lot of entertainment options for kids (playing areas and a kids program in the morning and evening - at least, during our stay). bar downstairs serves some drinks , no snacks, but you can bring your own. communication in english is difficult. german a little, but mainly polish. the isolation of the hotel is poor, it's cold everywhere. overall, the price of the hotel is high compared to quality . before we arrived at Bornit we stayed in Hilton for the same price... The whole hotel breaths the air of faded glory

We stayed there during XMas and hotel is located near of centre of Szklarska Poręba so you can do walk-arounds with easy. We stayed there during XMas and hotel is located near of centre of Szklarska Poręba so you can do walk-arounds with easy. Bornit is quite fine hotel, not really 4 stars for me but close, and while I had basically no much problems during my stay I would check other hotels next time as you can easily get something not worse (or better) for that price. Food was OK however a bit monotonous too. What I did not liked really at Bornit was poor WiFi coverage (we were located at 13th floor and I basically ended with paid data plan from my carrier, because wifi was not really reliable there). Swimming pool - it was quite cold form me there and kids barely managed to stay in the water for more than 20 minutes - perhaps 21C water is not the best idea for Sunday swimmers. The kitchen also badly failed for us at XMas dinner as failing to serve fully cooked pierogis a few times in a row (even when we pointed that something is not really done right there) is something I haven't seen elsewhere. Also not sure what others reviewers are talking about: swimming pool is 2m depth at most, with separate shallow area for kids with big slider and sliding pipe. WiFi is free (but coverage sucks on higher floors). There are two kid rooms, with cartoon painted walls, soft floors where they screen cartoons and your kids can play with but, for some reason there's almost no toys ;( There's XBOX if you want to play too (free rental, limited selection of games so bring your own if you have it)
