“A Historic Building to enjoy the Authentic Portuguese Experience”
This is an old stately manor. As such they have to keep it as it was. So no elevators, swimming pool or phones in rooms. We felt like royalty and were treated with great consideration by the staff. Very welcoming and attentive staff Very clean Old building with the associated drawbacks: The ceiling in our room was crumbling and falling on our belongings and the bed During the night, it was surprising Interior doors that must be locked to stay closed

“Perfect place to stay”
Very nice hotel, still in originaly Portugees style. People are friendly and helpfull. Location is perfect on the edge of the center close by the Sé and the Templo Romano.

“Charm for a fair price in good location”
Beautiful historic building in a perfect location walking distance from everything. Public rooms have more charm than the rooms. Beds were comfy, heating/ac worked well and decent water pressure in shower A nice terrace too. Desk staff sometimes absent when we needed our key
