“Impeccably well run hotel!”
Very relaxing. Fresh mountain air. Lovely hikes right on the doorstep. Excellent service from wonderful staff especially Carlos and Ricardo in the restaurant and Christine at the reception (also the gentleman who very efficiently fixed a snafu in our bill - sorry I can’t remember his name!!). “A truly pleasant experience”
Simply perfect. We stayed in the suite, spacious, clean, really comfortable. The staff is extremely friendly, knowledgeable and constantly available. “A lovely mountain retreat”
What a lovely mountain retreat! A very helpful welcome, drinks in the fire lit living room, a fine menu for dinner and buffet breakfast, and we were given instructions (and a picnic lunch) for a beautiful hike. We also recommend the free tour of the Burel factory in Mantiegas

“Great surprise ski or bike”
Excellent service with view, well designed rooms. Kitchen is best we have found in Portugal. Vegetarian, gluten free options, well served and plated. Rooms are small, no elevator. Staff is available to carry bags and address every request including laundry.

“An unexpected treasure in Portugal.”
A real Scandinavian type of experience. Terrific accomodations and hospitality. Hosts were extremely helpful with our groups needs from riding in the rain most of the day. A very relaxing and enjoyable location.
