“A night after Torre visit”
Welcome was very good and the price reasonable. The view from the hotel is very nice day and night. The room was very confortable, clean and well equipted (except the shower which has a door difficult to maintain closed and the bathroom was like a pool after my shower).

“Nice option to discover Serra da Estrela”
Inatel Manteigas is a large Hotel near Manteigas, a bit dated, but available at a very good price. Rooms are big, there is parking available, and breakfast is ok. This is a very good option to explore the region on a low budget.

“Decent in a beautiful location”
The staff are all very friendly and efficient. The hotel is located near a beautiful stream a couple of kms from Manteigas that you can see in the distance. The grounds are beautifully kept. “Old fashion hotel ”
Very well located for hiking in Serra de Astrela. It's past was glamorous and there is charm in the huge rooms with old furniture and wooden cover for the windows but twin beds that you can't put together? And breakfast is served only from 8 am in a place of early starts of long walks?

“Ok hotel”
The hotel has one main building and at least 2 more separated buildings with rooms, i stayed at the "Roda" building which was a 5 min walk from the main building, this might be a nuisance during rainy and snowy days because the breakfast is only served at the main building, so i do advise for stays… more
