Apart from its spectacular location for getting around Lisbon, one of my favourite things about the hotel was how friendly the staff were. The breakfast was tasty and fresh. The mood was pleasant, and the staff always had a smile - despite dealing with 'us' English tourists who couldn't hardly speak a word of Portuguese, and when we could, we butchered the pronunciation. Very friendly, stylish, and convenient for what we paid in the heart of Lisbon. It was clean and tidy and well looked after. Although the valve on our shower needs to be looked at in room 104. We would happily stay again, thanks to the hotel Staff for our short stay.

“Perfect Place in Lisbon”

Absolutely perfect hotel! The location is central to everything. Staff, especially Lara, are amazing. They are so friendly and helpful. Room was perfect for 2.

“Bathroom issue”

I really wanted to like this hotel more than I was able to. Pros: 1. It has an excellent location. It is in the center of everything. 2. The staff was generally nice. 3. The beds were comfortable. 4. The room was relatively quiet. You could hear some street noise, but it wasn't too bad. Cons: 1. Our room had a leak in the bathroom ceiling that dripped an unidentified liquid on the counter. We noticed the staining in room 206 when we checked in but did not hear or see the drip until the second morning. We reported it to the front desk but were told that they only had a single room available for that night. They showed us the room, and it was so small that we would not have been able to open our suitcases on the floor and one of us would have had to crawl over the other if they needed to get out of bed in the night. We had to stay another night in our original room. We ran into the people in room 106 at the reception desk and they were also trying to get moved. It sounded like their leak was even worse than ours as it had dripped all night and filled up a cup set on the counter. The hotel was able to move us for our fourth and final night. However, the first room that they said was available had someone else's luggage in it when housekeeping opened the door. They did find us yet another room, but the keys we were given did not work. They got this straightened out but it did not leave a good impression. Based on what we experienced, the leak in the ceiling was not a new issue. Room 206 should not have been rented in its current state. 2. There is no peephole in the door. You could not see out into the hallway and would have no idea who was at the door prior to opening it. 3. There is no internal lock on the door. Anyone with a passkey could come in at any time. 4. The original room that we were assigned had a low battery in the in-room safe. I neglected to test it before I put all of our items in it and had to call the front desk to have someone come up to replace the battery. The safe had a nick in it that looked like someone had tried to pry it open. The room that we moved to for the fourth night also had a low battery on the safe and at this point, we decided to secure our items in another manner. The question is then; would we stay here again? I would have to compare prices to the other hotels in the area before making that decision. There are many to choose from.

“All about the Location”

Decent hotel with nice if not small room but doesn’t matter for a few days. The location is excellent. Right in the middle of lovely restaurants, bars etc and easy access to all areas. There seems to be an issue with the heating. Room was cold and the heater only worked now and again. Terrible smel… more

Decent hotel with nice if not small room but doesn’t matter for a few days. The location is excellent. Right in the middle of lovely restaurants, bars etc and easy access to all areas. There seems to be an issue with the heating. Room was cold and the heater only worked now and again. Terrible smell in the shower when we arrived but got better the more we ran the tap. I would stay again as it was clean and comfortable and the location is brilliant.
