“An old fashioned hotel, top notch service”
This is a hotel which obviously prides itself on its service to guests, I found it very charming. The rooms are old fashioned, even using keys for he locks. Rooms were a bit dated, but clean. Room size is ok although furniture is rather old, breakfast is ok, service ok, front desk professional but the disaster was the shower - no support just a plastic curtain around the box where you cannot even keep your soap or shampoo so very complicated specially if you have a handicapped person ... more

“Proper choice if you came by car”
The hotel is situated aproximately 4 km away from the bus station to which you arrive by buses from Porto or Lisbon (btw those Rede expressos have excellent wi-fi). “Good price / quality”
We stayed one night in this hotel on our way back from Porto to Lisbon. It's good quality and offers great breakfast. The rooms are not modern, but have all conveniances one should care for. Wifi is okay, but not perfect. Garden is a nice feature! We missed a swimmingpool though.
