This hotel is simply perfect for a peaceful vacation. The environment is quiet, the rooms are spacious and very clean, and the views are just breathtaking. It’s ideal for couples who want to disconnect and enjoy quality time together. We felt safe, comfortable, and very well taken care of.

Our family enjoyed our stay at Princess Heights and would recommend it to others. In fact, my family members mentioned our accommodation as a highlight of the trip. Location: The property on the East side of the island, at the Dutch/French border. It is located above Dawn Beach. Our goal for this, our first trip to Saint Martin, was to explore the whole island. So this location worked as well as any other. If one knows one wants to spend most of one's time, for example, at the beaches on the far West of the island, it would make sense to stay closer to those. Beach: The property is above Dawn Beach. One can get there (via several staircases - and then walking across the Marriott hotel property). Our family found Dawn Beach to be disappointing. If you are looking for a beach hotel (roll out of bed and flop on beach), there are probably better options. Proximity to Dawn Beach did not seem a big feature to us. But the view from the hotel over the beach is nice. And there are plenty of great beaches on St Martin if you don't mind driving to them. Property: The property was clean and decently landscaped. To get to our building, one had to drive through a gated entrance opened via access card. That helped give the property a secure feel. There is a fair bit of driving (and on steep roads) needed to get to one's building - but it is not that bad - easily doable in a regular rental car. The property seemed very quiet (a good feature) when we were there (in March). Parking: We were able to find a parking spot for most nights. On one night, we had to go to the property's lower parking lot - really not that much of an ordeal. So, overall, parking was fine (and felt secure). Rooms: Our rooms were very clean and in fine shape. The bathrooms were well finished and equipped. Toilet paper was not the finest. The shower had good water pressure. The rooms had good quality beach towels as well as bath towels. We had adjoining rooms. Each room had a king bed and its own nice bathroom. One room was attached to a large living room with a full kitchen and a balcony. The adjoining room had a small kitchenette. Plenty of space for our family! The ktichen was well stocked with items needed if one wanted to self cater. The fridge had some welcome drinks (beer, Coke, water). Water from the fridge and kitchen sink was safe to drink. The rooms, especially the patio, had a nice view down to Dawn Beach (overlooking the big Marriott hotel). One could see St. Barthes in the distance. The patio had a table & chairs, so one could enjoy a self-catered dinner there. Staff: Staff were very friendly and ready to help. The check-in process takes some time (have all traveler's passports with you). The checkout process was efficient with no surprises. I had some questions about the hotel before our trip - and I got quick, courteous, and helpful replies from the staff. Breakfast: We opted for breakfast for our first morning only. It cost $10. One gets coffee, good orange juice, a very small container of supermarket yoghurt, and some heated croissants (chocolate, butter) with jam. Nothing special. But I think opting in for the first morning worked out well - and then we stocked up at the supermarket for remaining mornings. Gym, Pool, Laundry: We did not use - but all available. Supermarket: As of March 2026, there is a nice, new, small Cadis mini-market a short five minute drive away (in Oyster Pond, across from the Oasis restaurant). It still did not show on Google Maps at the time of writing - but is there and useful for supplies. Better/bigger supermarkets (Carrefour) are in Philipsburg - a bit of a drive but much better selection (and prob. better pricing). Other: Wifi was good. When you check-in, you are asked which days you want which room services (cleaning, linens, trash) - all at no charge. I would recommend daily trash removal if you are self-catering.

Our stay at Princess Heights Resort in Sint Maarten was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the beauty of the setting. The views over the ocean are simply breathtaking — endless shades of blue, nearby islands in the distance, and a peaceful atmosphere that instantly makes you slow down and breathe. Everything is perfectly maintained and cleaned with exceptional care. Our suite was spacious, beautifully arranged, and equipped with everything we could possibly need. It felt like a home away from home — only with paradise views from the balcony. Each morning, breakfast was brought directly to our room, which made us feel so spoiled and relaxed. The pool area is magnificent, overlooking the ocean, and wonderfully quiet — the perfect place to unwind. What truly sets this place apart is the staff. Their kindness, professionalism, and genuine warmth made all the difference. We felt welcomed, valued, and sincerely cared for throughout our stay. This is not just a hotel — it’s a peaceful haven. We left with beautiful memories and a strong desire to return.
