Spent 2 nights at this lovely hotel in a party of 12 ladies for a birthday celebration. The hotel is in the city centre which wasn't too busy and the area itself was very clean - no street litter. It's very clean and the rooms spacious. I stayed in a single room which had a king size bed! Reception staff were very polite, friendly and accommodating to any of our needs. Not all rooms come with robes and slippers, so you have to ask for these at reception (no additional charge). We travelled around using Bolt which is cheaper than an Uber. My room was on the 10th floor with amazing views of the city. The breakfast was decent (buffet), cost £13 which I thought was reasonable. The bed and pillows were so comfortable I wanted to take them home! We visited the Therme Spa, which is a must. Had an amazing time there. Be sure to get there early, 9am, if you want to have a treatment, which sell out fast. Food and drink there is reasonable. You can hire flip flops, robes and towels. I would highly recommend the Leonardo which is approximately 40 minutes from the airport.

“A Solid City Centre Choice”

I have stayed in Bucharest a number of times, but for this trip decided to book into the Leonardo based on recommendations from work colleagues. It has a useful location, just a six minute walk from Piata Romana, and as I arrived by are easily reached to the Piata by the Number 100 bus. Check in was easy with all I needed to do, including booking a late check-out (up to 3PM for 30 euros) and paying the city tax (the company had already paid the bill). Then into one of two high-speed lifts to my room on the second room. Being so low down, I didn't benefit from the much-vaunted city view, but personally that wasn't an issue. Importantly, the room was quiet, clean, and had all I needed for. three-night stay. Good wifi and lots of hot water for the shower. Tea and coffee making facilities and I actually switched on the large TV. I don't normally use the TV, but the World Cup was on! Breakfast was served from 0700, and pretty much what you would expect. Standard hot options, cereal, fruit, yoghurts, pastries, bread and the standard continental choices. But lots to set you up for the day. There is a sheltered roadside terrace immediately outside the breakfast room (which doubles as the bar) for smokers to pursue their habit. The hotel works well for business or pleasure. Walking to the Old Town as a fit person takes in the region of 20-25 minutes. Calea Victoriei to the north has some nice cafes. I walked to meet friends at the Beraria H in King Michael's Park, about 50. minutes. There are bus stops right outside, and getting around Bucharest by bus is really easy. If you drive, parking is a bit limited, so contact the hotel in advance for advice. There is s small gym, but being a runner I didn't use it so can't really comment. I just has three night's good sleep and made the most of breakfast. In sum, not the Old Town, but a sound location. I liked it, a and would happily stay here again.

“Good location”

Nice hotel, about 10 minutes walk to old town. Supermarket about 5 minutes walk, hence we got breakfast there . Hotel has a nice lobby . Practical hotel for exploring Bucharest

Staff were friendly and helpful. Check in was fast.oit room was allocated before the time stated which was a bonus. The room was clean. It was okay for the 2 nights for 2 people, but may not be so good for a longer stay. Thee was a wardrobe and hooks on the wall. The hair dryer was not good. It over heats then cuts out before your hair is dry. The breakfast was usual buffet style. Choices were good. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Had a wonderful sleep without disturbance.
