“Great value!”

Very good location. Everything was clean, tidy and spacious. Elevator is a lifesaver! Not all hotels have them in S.Petersburg. Street a bit noisy so a high floor with AC is recommended. Breakfast is basic but ok. Would definitely return.

Just behind kazan cathedral and walking distance to most tourist attractions. There were supermkts and restaurants nearby. Reception, housekeeping and bfst staff was very warm and helpful. Since we had a very early flight, they gave us a bfst box to tk along. One black haired lady at the reception was incredibly helpful( sorry dont know her name). There was a water cooler in the passage for drinking water · Hotel is very plain looking and dated. However it is compensated by excellent facilities and warm service.

We stayed in a twin room for 3 nights in September. The hotel is in a good location. It is on Kazanskaya ul. which is about 20 minutes walk to the Winter Palace through Nevsky Prospect. The closest metro stations are Sennaya Ploschad' and Nevskiy Prospect. The entrance to the hotel does not have a clear sign saying it is the Atlantic hotel and as the reception is located on first floor (2/F), it can be easily missed. The hotel has a lift as well as staircase. The staff speak English well and took care of foreign citizen registration for RUB 300 per person. When we arrived, the room was originally set up as a double room, but as we had requested a twin room they rearranged the beds promptly, which was appreciated. The hotel provides free wifi; password(s) obtainable from reception. Other than the beds, our room also had: * 2x bedside tables with drawers * desk and chair * television * wardrobe with a number of free hanging hangers (unlocked) * mirror * disposable slippers * 3x electric plugs - one behind the television, one at the desk and one at the bed * air conditioner, but it was not working when we stayed The bathroom had: * hairdryer * shower with mini unit bath * shampoo and soap * bath towels, hand towels and bath mat towels In the common areas of the hotel on each of the guest floors, there is also a drinking water (hot and cold) dispenser. The shower water pressure was low. And when we filled the bathtub with water from the shower, the water did not appear to be clear in colour. The water was yellow in colour. At first, we thought it was the lighting, but the same thing did not occur in the washing sink, so we think it may be the hot water boiler. Also, there is a sign in the bathroom saying that hot water is available only for 20 minutes, then the hot water boiler will boil the water for 30-40 minutes. Breakfast, which was included in our booking, was available between 8:00 am and 10:00 am each morning. There was a selection of hot and cold food. Hot food included baked eggs (somewhat like Japanese tamago-yaki), sausages, bacon, porridge (two types) and toast. Cold food included boiled eggs, yogurt, cereal, pastries (including croissant con creme), selection of hams, tomato with cucumber and cheese. As for drinks, juices, water, hot tea and coffee were available. On check-out, the staff were happy for us to leave our luggage with the reception and for us to come back to collect our bags at a later time. Overall, the hotel was nice, reasonably priced and in a good location.

“Basic hotel, good location, friendly, but poor breakfast and stale smell in room.”

Would not recommend for a personal trip - not at all romantic or relaxing. It's OK for a low key business trip or if you are economising or need this central location. Breakfast was sub-standard. Would not recommend for a personal trip - not at all romantic or relaxing. It's OK for a low key business trip or if you are economising or need this central location. Breakfast was sub-standard. Reception area is very unappealing. The room was clean and OK but basic and there was a stale smell that was off-putting (not welcoming!) and just made me want the window open all the time, but the road outside could be noisy. Fridge also made a loud noise so I had to turn it off.
