My wife and I came here for our honeymoon, and the staff was extremely attentive, hospitable, and cheerful! The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the beaches / weather was spectacular. HIGHLY recommend for any romantic getaways. Transportation to and from the airport was 100% painless — Sandals took care of all of the logistics, and we didn’t have to lift a finger! Our room manager, Shenelle, took the time to check in with us to make sure everything was perfect, and left a very thoughtful note congratulating us for our honeymoon at our departure. Absolutely GREAT!!!!

My husband and I had an incredible experience on our honeymoon at Sandals Halycon! This was our first all inclusive and it definitely did not disappoint. We had 3 butlers; Samantha, Veto, & Pluta 10/10. They made sure we had a smooth and relaxing stay. We got the honeymoon butler suite with the personal pool, but I have to be honest, we spent all of our days in the resort main pool - literally morning to evening! We met and connected with other guests with the many activities they had planned throughout each day. The staff made our experience way more personal and definitely kept my husband entertained with World Cup talk. The restaurant options were minimal but all great food! It was such heartbreak having to leave! We definitely plan to go back! Shoutout to all the amazing staff we had the pleasure of connecting with! - Javier and Gabriella Zendejas <33

I sent the following message to Sandals customer service, while we were still on our honeymoon on 7/9 and still haven’t heard back on 7/13: To whom it may concern: I hope you are doing well. First, I want to say that we have truly been enjoying our honeymoon at the Halcyon Resort and appreciate the effort your team puts into creating a wonderful experience for your guests. I wanted to bring a few concerns to your attention, as I know you hold your staff to the highest standards. The first concerns the spa. On Monday, I had a manicure and pedicure, during which my gel wedding nails were removed. Unfortunately, it was the worst manicure experience I have ever had. It appears that nearly every layer of my natural nails was removed in the process. My nails are now extremely brittle, are breaking, and are painful whenever they come into contact with anything. I understand that gel removal can be delicate, but this has left my nails damaged and uncomfortable. The second issue occurred last night. We left our room shortly after 6:00 p.m. for dinner, and it appears that housekeeping returned while we were out, as our bed had been made again. However, when we got back to our room after 10:00 p.m., we found our room door open. Thankfully, nothing appears to be missing, but this was understandably concerning. Lastly, I have celiac disease and must strictly follow a gluten-free diet. Yesterday after 5:00 p.m., I went to the bistro to order fries. I understand that the bistro does not have a dedicated fryer, but earlier in our stay the staff had kindly accommodated me by obtaining fries from another location. This time, however, I was simply told, "We cannot accommodate you at this hour. Try coming back tomorrow." While I understand that there may be operational limitations, I was disappointed by the response, particularly since accommodations had previously been made. I'm not sure whether there is anything that can be done regarding these situations, but I felt it was important to make you aware of them. I know the level of service your resort strives to provide, and I wanted to share this feedback in that spirit. Thank you in advance for taking the time to read this and for anything you may be able to do. We sincerely appreciate your attention to these matters and look forward to enjoying the remainder of our honeymoon. *In addition to this, room service was not taking our dirty dishes and cups. Due to this, we had tons and tons of aunts all over our room. **We do have to give a huge shoutout to Dyllon & Sassy Sam who were a part of the entertainment team. They went above and beyond for all of their customers, made sure everyone was happy, got the crowd involved in all of the activities that they had to offer, and genuinely cared! A huge kudos to them- they stuck out like no other! We also loved Trista at Kelly’s Dockside! She was so friendly, sweet, and made sure that everything was perfect!
