What a wonderful resort right on the beachfront. The setting was beautiful but it was the staff that made our holiday extra special and one to remember. They were outstanding and always went the extra mile. Extra touches like the lovely lady in the bar swirling ice in your glass before pouring a wine, "Safe travels home" on the coffee, the 2 young guys playing/singing happy birthday farwelling our grandson on his 30th birthday along with wishing him all the best in life. All the staff were wonderful. Meals were delicious and service excellent. We really enjoyed the snorkeling off the beach and the clam and turtle tour plus the local school visit. The Fia Fia shownight was impressive. Sadly we missed the String band on the Saturday night. The rooms were a good size and we had a nice view out to the beach from the garden view rooms. Our holiday was great value for money and will definitely return plus highly recommend to other family and friends.

I had an absolutely incredible stay at this resort! From the moment I arrived, I was made to feel like family. The resort itself is beautiful, but what truly makes this place unforgettable is the staff. A huge thank you to Tia, Sio, Maua, Patrick, Mo & Mo—you all went above and beyond to make every day special. There are so many other wonderful staff members who deserve recognition too; there are simply too many to mention. Every single person was warm, welcoming, genuine, and always had a smile on their face. The in-house entertainment was another highlight. Every event was so well organised, full of energy, and showcased the incredible talent of the team. It was clear how much passion and pride everyone puts into creating such a fun and memorable experience for guests. This isn’t just a resort—it’s a place where people genuinely care about making your holiday unforgettable. I can’t recommend this resort highly enough. If you’re looking for outstanding hospitality, amazing entertainment, and a team that truly makes you feel at home, this is the place. I already can’t wait to come back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

My sister and I loved our recent stay at Return to Paradise to escape a cold winter in Dunedin, NZ. We felt the warmth of Samoa everyday with their smiles, hospitality and friendliness. You don’t go there looking for glitz and glamour but you go there for something real and comfortable. The cultural night & fiafia show and the beautiful Samoan buffet was wonderful and well worth attending. And we highly recommend the Maeva String Band & Culture Show – those boys are so talented and charismatic; they are super fun with wonderful voices! The feasts were all delicious. Apart from our first day, the breakfast buffet was consistent and we always looked forward to it while reading Aunty Pisupo’s risqué daily resort newsletters which are a crack up! It would be good to have their homemade muesli available each day (we only saw it the once) and a natural yoghurt option to add to the mix and change up the cooked breakfasts, but the banana doughnuts, fresh fruit, fruit lassi shots and baked goods were always nice but some items were in high demand so better to be early. The Cabana Cafe would be better if it had more authentic Samoan dish options over mainly Western style foods and some items would be quite different day to day depending on who made it – but all the curries we ordered and pizza in the restaurants were really good and my sister enjoyed the barista coffees. I enjoyed all the quite varying recipes for a papaya smoothie over the week, but all the fun of going with the flow! The beds, room (& front deck which is magic for watching the moon set in the early hours of the morning through the coconut palms!) were spacious and comfortable and kept nice and clean, but we never did find the phone in our garden bungalow room (which was fine as we didn’t need it), Shower pressure & Wi-Fi can be inconsistent but being 3star and on Island Time to be expected to a certain extent and you just go with it. The gardens are so neat and tidy. The gym was great, good air con and variety of equipment, very clean and tidy, so no excuse not to go when it’s only a 2min walk from our room to the gym and then 1min to the breakfast buffet! We enjoyed our chats with Ramona who made everyone welcome and I didn’t catch all the staff names as it’s a big place with lots of staff - but standouts were the lovely Sio, and Maua was a fun welcome when collecting us from the airport, etc, oh and the lovely breakfast fruit station lady – Rita I think? Everyone all around the resort was very friendly always with a warm smile and greeting. I am already missing the natural background sounds of the white noise of waves on the reef and the roosters which made for the best sleeps while having the louvre screened windows open and ceiling fan on (air con wasn’t needed even though available, it as it was between 24-27degC every day and wasn’t too humid). As for the beach – and I’m all about the beach – it was perfect tropical island beach! I could do my swimming laps of it each day (didn’t even end up trying the pools!). Perfect temperature in June, such gorgeous turquoise water with pretty fish, lovely white fine sand, loads of shade under the coconut palms and trees with plenty of loungers. It’s my third time visiting Samoa but my first time at RTP – I have found my return place and I will be back! Thanks for having us.
