It is always a risk booking accomodation and fearing it will not live up to your expectations. Well RTP was amazing and so pleased we stayed there. We stayed in a beachfront room and enjoyed the views in the day and the gentle ocean sounds at night. If you love cats, bring some dry cat food. Also there is an on-site library which you can donate to. Snorkeling and swimming were dependent on tides but we went in every day at the right times. If the tide was high, there are 4 pools to relax in. The cultural shows were all entertaining and worth the money. Staff were amazing with huge smiles. Buffet breakfast was good with an adequate selection. During our stay Getaway were filming so we know it will definitely result in being a busier resort. The only negative was that we had to leave after 8 nights.

I would highly recommend this resort a holiday here is fantastic with so much to do and see. The staff are so very friendly and helpful. The Saturday night Maeva String band and cultural show and buffet dinner is a not to miss show. they were absolutely fantastic put everything into the performance. Then the Wednesday night Cultural show and Fire Kniffe show and polynesian Buffet was fabulous the performers showed amazing skill and food was delicious. these two shows are must see. Then there are a number of tours from which it is hard to pick the best, but the east coast beaches and waterfall and Sua Trench tour is a must do. The coach driver Stan and guide Tarzi were so informative and gave us an amazing day out. Then there was the Piula cave swimm tour is a must do. Snorkelling at the rest is great so many different fish to see. The staff will go out of there way to make your stay fantastic. I highly recommend Return to Paradise resort for a holiday.

“Disappointing (very)”

Arrived to find the room lacking in so many ways. The bathroom floor had patches of a sticky secretion which clearly had never been touched. The waste bin was broken (why bother putting it in there?) Arrived to find the room lacking in so many ways. The bathroom floor had patches of a sticky secretion which clearly had never been touched. The waste bin was broken (why bother putting it in there?) The shower drain was blocked by hair (ugh) and hot water Intermittent. The internet rarely worked despite the broken router being replaced with another broken router. The aircon remotes never worked despite reporting it 4 times with no response. The room furniture was grubby and stained as was the deck furniture. Note that the beach is very (very) small and not really suitable for swimming. As for the food, other reviews on this site (Tripadvisor make it hard to see them) sum it up accurately - expensive, poor quality and the breakfast buffet truly terrible, with unhealthy hot food (baked beans, inedible small sausages and deep fried hash browns.) The fruit selection was of tiny slices of various fruits and the papaya usually gone after 45 minutes. Most days one of the bread toasters was broken leading to considerable queues. The butter appears in almost impossible to open sachets and we resorted to taking nail scissors to open them. Any dinner option with chicken used small pieces of obviously old and tough off cuts. We never saw fresh or breast meat in any dish. Of the rest of the options, only the tuna sashimi was good, and the fish in the fish and chips. And why try and charge 5TL for a jug of water? And does the island not have any fresh tomatoes or avocado? And why the 3.5% card charge when two nearby resorts only ch charge where the food was way ?
