This is an amazing Holiday Inn Express. It’s only a Holiday Inn Express, which is probably the least fancy of the IHG group. But in service and specially customer service from the front desk, it cannot be beaten. Arriving in a new city, I called the hotel three hours before my flight took off, asking for a transfer from airport to hotel, in a new city where I don’t speak the language. No problem, I was told! Within half an hour I got an email that it was all arranged. The front desk advised that I get a local SIM for my phone to call a taxi etc when I was in town. One of their most helpful staff walked across the road , in the middle of a drizzle, to make it happen! That, I told the gentleman, was beyond the call of duty. His name was Sergej Govorcin and I would have given him a medal! I hope his bosses at IHG reward him for truly being an asset. In fact, all the front desk staff were so willing and helpful. Nothing was too much for them and they appeared to be so happy to be helpful and cheerful. This was a far different experience for me, compared to IHG hotels in the UK who hardly ever go the extra mile! The room had a lovely bed , cosy and comfortable. Plenty of running hot water in the shower. Breakfast was ample. What more could one ask for! Holiday Inn Express Belgrade does bring great credit to the IHG group!

“Nice hotel with outstanding service at check-in”

We stayed two nights in the Holiday inn Express in Belgrade. We were in rooms 715 and 716. Our room had a queen bed, TV, A/C, sofa(bed), desk and chair, coffee pot, and safe. We stayed two nights in the Holiday inn Express in Belgrade. We were in rooms 715 and 716. Our room had a queen bed, TV, A/C, sofa(bed), desk and chair, coffee pot, and safe. The hair dryer was in the room, which seemed strange. The bathroom had a shower only. There was free WiFi. The ice was from a machine in the lobby, and it didn't work, so we got ice from the bar. The breakfast was good, but the coffee machine was temperamental, and needed extra on/off switching to work. The room key was needed for the elevator and lights. And the elevator buttons were hard to push. Parking was 12 euros per day. And there is an ATM about a block away. There is no parking in front of the hotel, which makes it difficult to check in, or get rides. But the highlight for us was the excellent service provided by Tijana at the front desk. She was the only staff member working when we checked in, so she had to come down to the garage to get us in, and help with our luggage. And she went up to our room to see that one room was not big enough for us, and arranged the second room for us. Many thanks. We would stay here again.

We knew the hotel from earlier this year. It has provided good value for the money. It's clean, reasonably located (immediately at bus/tram stop, walking distance to Vukov spomenik, Tašmajdan, Njegoševa st.), it has own garage, good breakfast, friendly reception where you can work. To our surprise the hotel has almost double it's prices between March and September 2025 (measured in Euros), and also the parking became paid (15€/night). Anyway, the other factors didn't change. To our surprise, only after we departed we realized that some money has disappeared from our valet. Our mistake was not to use the safe which is present in each room. But still I would not expect that a) if I put don't disturb, anybody enters my room b) anything disappears. Unfortunately these were money in different currencies which we needed only in our next destination, so we didn't figure out immediately.
