Old school luxury hotel with quirky decorations but oozing period charm. Great location in the old Petrovaradan Fort and an easy walk over the river into town (15 mins). “Hotel in a fortress”
I love hotels in old buildings and this is a nice one. The staff locks hospitality training and direction though. You may want to bring your own water, because none is Providence and the tapwater is heavily chlorinated. Fortunately, the weather was mild. The airconditioning in my room was not neede… more

Pleasant hotel in the fine fortress the Austrians left in Petrovaradin in the 18th century. In a quiet position, many of its rooms (including mine) overlook the Danube and Novi Sad.
