I was travelling to Singapore with my brother for vacation from 15-18 March 2026 and has booked a room with Amara Sanctuary Sentosa. Prior to our arrival at the hotel, I called the hotel up to check on my booking as well as any complimentary services that come with my booking. Front desk reception AIN picked up my call and greeted me warmly. She answered my questions with professionalism and assured me that my booking was all in order. Initially, I made the booking in the Courtyard Suite, however, Ms AIN recommended me the Verandah Suite, which is bigger, upon knowing that I am traveling with my brother. Both my brother and I were thankful for her room recommendation as we had quite a number of luggages with us. In addition to the room queries, I had made a special request to give my brother a surprise in the room in view of his birthday at the end of March. Ms AIN did a wonderful job in preparing the surprise. My brother was caught off guard and amazed by the decoration in the room. He was grateful for the birthday card from Ms AIN and the birthday cake redemption from the hotel restaurant. Both of them exhibited professionalism in their work and always wear a smile while serving. Furthermore, both of them are observant and will show concern if one of the guests is absent from the group of people they came with. They displayed a warm and chill vibes which allow the guests to feel homely at the restaurant. We enjoyed the drinks, namely the Watermelon Crust and Green Vitality personally prepared by Ms Jennifer. Lastly, I would like to compliment Mr James and his team from the front desk reception for serving the guests with passion and to their best ability. Despite multiple requests made, Mr James and his team tried their best to fulfill with patience. Mr James also went the extra mile to liaise with the housekeeping manager, Ms Sabrina, to discuss with my brother on the best solution to clean his favorite land yard as the housekeeping team mistakenly threw his land yard. In general, the staff at Amara Sanctuary Sentosa showed professionalism in their work and is passionate in serving each guest. My brother and I appreciate their warm hospitality and has decided to extend our stay till 25 March. My brother Ben and I really enjoy our stay and the staff here are very nice and helpful!

“Overall a good stay, convenient location and good value for Sentosa”

We had a mixed but overall positive stay at Amara Sanctuary Sentosa. We booked three rooms—two Deluxe Rooms and one Verandah Studio. The main difference between room types was quite noticeable. The Deluxe Rooms are located in an older part of the resort and felt a bit dated and tired compared to the photos. While still functional, they didn’t quite live up to expectations. In contrast, the Verandah Studio was excellent—modern, well-presented, and exactly as advertised. It felt like a completely different standard of accommodation and offered great value. A big thank you to the reception staff member who assisted us with a reasonably priced upgrade from one of the Deluxe Rooms to a One Bedroom Verandah Studio Suite. This made a huge difference for our stay, as we were travelling with family and needed rooms closer together. The upgrade allowed us to have adjoining rooms, which made things much more convenient with kids and grandparents. Breakfast was in line with expectations for the price point—nothing overly fancy, but solid, hearty options with nothing to complain about. We also had dinner at the hotel restaurant, which was a highlight. The service was excellent, and special mention to the Filipino hostess who made the experience particularly memorable. The location is also very convenient. There’s a Sentosa public bus stop right outside the resort, making it easy to get to and from Resorts World and other parts of Sentosa. The hotel also offers its own shuttle bus (with fixed times), which is helpful, but it’s great to have the flexibility of the public transport option as well. Overall, while the older rooms could benefit from refurbishment, the newer Verandah accommodations and the service we received made for a very enjoyable stay. The suite rooms are well worth the money, the basic rooms are to be avoided.
