Wangz Hotel is a boutique hotel located at Tiong Bahru! We stayed here for 2 Days 1 Night. The room was so spacious and cozy. The hotel also provide shuttle service to various area (do check with the hotel staff for more information.) Hotel location is good as it’s nearby town area and various famous food place such as Tiong Bahru bakery cafe, Tiong Bahru Hawker and Market, and many more. You may explore Tiong Bahru area in the day and take some amazing photo. During night time you may want to try out seafood restaurant or chill at a cozy bar opposite the hotel. If you are hungry middle of the night, there’s is a supper watery place just beside the hotel. I went to eat the famous Kampong chicken rice after watching my Soccer match. Hotel serve yummy delicious breakfast buffet as well, don’t forget to try out their fried rice and pastry. You may want to try out their lunch set at upper place restaurant. They currently having lunch promo! 3 course meal at the price of $24++. Meal include, 1 starter, 1 main and 1 dessert (include one drink). If you feel like exercising, you may use their gym room at level 1. The gym is small but have most of the usual equipment. I went for 30mins workout before my breakfast. Towel and water also provided at the gym. Overall: 5/5 value for money staycay and highly recommended to traveller who want stay near town and eatery area.

I have been a visitor to Singapore a number of times, and the hotels in the city - whether one star or 5 star - are renowned for small rooms. I admit I booked wangz on a whim. I saw it’s position in the TA listings, and decided to try out this boutique style hotel for this one night stopover. I caught a cab from changi (2019 cost 28 Singapore dollars). The drop off point is in a lower ground car park with a lift to the ground floor reception. I was warmly welcomed by the receptionist, who efficiently checked me in. My room was on the 2nd floor. My luggage was taken up to the room for me, which was much appreciated. Their is a pleasant lounge area, with separate outside area - ideal for smokers if you don’t mind the passing traffic noise. Opening the room door, I was pleasantly surprised how spacious this room was. A king size bed, mini bar with free soft drinks and water, tea/coffee making facilities, large flat screen tv, writing desk, wardrobe, and large shower room. I found the bed firm, but not rock solid, so it was comfortable for me. The outlook from the large picture window was of the rear of other properties, so not a great view. However, upper rooms on the other side have super city views. Other reviews have pointed out the lack of storage around the wash basin. I agree this is a minor fault that the hotel may consider looking into. The window sound proofing was fine and I barely heard any traffic. I had to use reception a few times eg ordering cabs, metro information etc. All information was given clearly and helpfully. Breakfast was served on the 5th floor - use the same elevator as for car park. If you are expecting a big hotel breakfast buffet, then you will be disappointed. Their is both international and Asian offerings but limited. Their is sausage and American bacon, with eggs cooked to order of most types..eg scrambled, over easy, omelette etc. Their are croissants and toast, cereal and some fresh fruit. What was offered was perfectly acceptable, but not a big flashy affair. I certainly had plenty to eat, and the fresh omelette was cooked perfectly. Check out was as smooth as check in, and their was help to carry my luggage down to the awaiting taxi that the hotel booked. Would I stay here again? Yes, especially for the large rooms, and the staff who each and every one of them was polite and helpful.

The review is based on my business travel experience. Location :- the hotel is centrally located and you can board a bus opposite to the hotel which will drop you to the MRT (I stop away). Also there are a few good restaurants and cafe around. The small restaurants just on the side of the hotel and open till early morning hours which is very helpful :-) Rooms & service :- the rooms & bathrooms are of descent size and are well maintained. The hotel staff is very helpful as well. Food :- the morning breakfast had very small spread and there was nothing much to chose from.. The only drawback from my side. Overall a very pleasant and comfortable stay....

Location is good, about 13-14mins walk from Outram Park MRT Station, or from Tiong Baru. Opposite had a nice restaurant called Chapter 55, price OK and food quality is not bad.. Serving western food.. Tiong Baru market is also opposite with 5 mins walk.. Food is not a problem here.. Nearest shoppin… more
