“Great World Residences Service Apartments review”

We had a wonderful stay at Great World Residence service apartments while in Singapore. The unit was very spacious with a full kitchen, washer-dry, and ironing room. Andy Lim was very helpful in making the arrangements and in adding 2 more nights to our stay.

Excellent service apartments, with very friendly staff. They maintained a high standard of cleanliness over the 2 months we stayed with them. The apartments are very well laid out and very stay friendly. The support staff is exceptional and always happy to help.

Great serviced apartment, friendly front desk. The apartment was car friendly and they were super helpful with all deliveries, cleaning and other random requests. Uncle Aloysius is still our sons favourite!!! Thanks for everything guys!

Our booking was for 2 people for a 10-night stay. All the staff we dealt with, from reception to security to housekeeping, were faultless - all were friendly, helpful and polite. Our booking was for 2 people for a 10-night stay. All the staff we dealt with, from reception to security to housekeeping, were faultless - all were friendly, helpful and polite. They alone would have warranted a 5-star review. Equipment and facilities provided in the kitchen were of good quality as well as the washing machine and dryer. Location of the apartments was excellent as it was within the Great World City complex with immediate access to the shopping centre itself and numerous restaurants, food courts, etc within it. HOWEVER, I am giving a 3-star review due to the fact that in spite of the high price per night charged for the serviced apartment, the amenities (coffee pods, water, tea, washing detergent, etc) provided was stingy and miserly. A lovely Nespresso machine was available in the kitchen with only 4 coffee pods; 4 packets of oxygenated water; 1/2 a bottle of washing detergent with a sticker that said we had purchase our own if we needed more. None of these items were replenished by them. House-keeping was twice a week, so in between those days, we had to ring for extra supplies of tea bags, shampoos, shower gels etc. It would have made our stay much more comfortable if amenities were replenished timely and supplied more generously, considering we were booked in for a 10-night stay! It was also unfortunate that when we checked in, we found the shower door leaking water out into the rest of the bathroom. However, when maintenance was advised, response and repair was swift. Nevertheless, it was somewhat inconvenient for us on the first night with the leakage, and then the next day also having to wait for the maintenance people to turn up.
