My dad and I were looking for a decent place for our 3D2N Singapore trip and Hotel 81 did it’s job. You get what you pay for - nothing fancy, but a decent private room (unlike the other capsule hotels that only has curtain dividers) with comfortable beds and air conditioning system. The best part about this place is that it’s near (walking distance) both MRT and Bus stations as well as 7/11, shopping malls, and nearby food centers. I guess one of its main selling point really is the location. Some things to note though especially if you are someone who’s very picky when it comes to accommodations - the room that we had had air bubbles in the wall tarps, the shower head holder falls out easily, the bathroom is just one small space where the shower, toilet, and sink are all beside each other, there is no bidet, and some sheets had little stains. But to be honest, we don’t mind those minor details (maybe except for the bidet, but we made things work haha) since we were always outside the hotel exploring singapore most of the time. We just needed a decent place to sleep after the long tiring hours and i guess Hotel 81 served its purpose. One recommendable asset of this hotel though is one of their staff named Sharlotte who always welcomed us with a smile (through her eyes, cause she was always in mask) ever since we first entered their hotel. She is very approachable and accommodating with our concerns and questions about the ways around Singapore. 11/10 for the staff members that were present during our stay. I won’t hesitate to comeback to this hotel if I ever visit singapore again just because it’s a hotel that gets the job done for my needs without spending a lot.

“Clean and good location”

The hotel staff also friendly and communicative , special thanks to Ms Jovine and other staff , the location also very convinient , just 5 minutes walk to MRT , Thank you Hotel 81 Bugis

“Small Clean Room with friendly staff”

Stayed three nights in the first week of October. Very close to city Centre. 4 minute walk suntec city convention Centre. Five minutes walk to Bugis metro junction and Shopping mall. No Restaurant in hotel. Linen changed every day. value for money

I guess a standard in these small rooms. Clean though.
