I only stayed here for 2 nights, but found it to be a great base to explore SIngapore. Close enough to walk to Little India and close to the local subway station. Checking was smooth and easy and the receptionist was friendly and help us with directions and arranging cabs. As with most rooms in Singapore, the room was quite small, but well presented. Very clean, comfy bed and usual tea and coffee making facilities. There are lots of choices of hotels in Singapore for all budgets and needs. I found the Nu-Ve to be great place to stay and would probably stay there again.

Very nice hotel fairly priced with a nice pool area, the rooms are quite small but well equipped for your stay, the staff are very friendly and helpful. The area is fine next to Little India with many restaurants of many nationalities but the Indian eateries are best but a bit expensive you are better off going to a Newton Center which are a lot cheaper. There is no breakfast options which is something we normally need in a hotel but there are many places close by you can go. It’s a 10 minute walk to the MRT system which goes all over Singapore

I stayed here for two nights on two occasions, firstly in May 2025 on my way to Europe and then on my way back to Australia in June, a month later. I had booked using my Qantas Frequent Flyer points and, using the online photos as a guide, selected a single room for each stay as I was travelling solo. The hotel is located in a suburban area with shops, restaurants, and the Mustafa shopping centre very close by. A big plus is that the Lavender MRT is a quick 5-minute walk away through the grounds of an apartment complex alongside a canal, so access all over Singapore is very fast and easy once you've downloaded the MyTransport.sg app and worked out how to move around. There is also a great local vegan resturant just down the road, Makan Vegan, which serves lovely meals. The hotel is clean, modern and neat, and the single room is spacious enough for one person with a large bathroom with rain shower head, fluffy white towels and complimentary mini bar with Oreos, two bottles of water replenished daily, and some soft drinks in the small bar fridge. There was also plenty of hot water (but I was reminded on my second visit after having a lukewarm shower to turn on the water heater which is located on the wall outside the bathroom). There is a cute little swimming pool on Level 5 which was spotlessly clean but only 1m deep, so okay for cooling off after a hard day out sightseeing, but not suitable for serious swimming. Where this hotel loses stars in my review is mainly because of the noise level from the street. The first tme I stayed here, my room was located on Level 4 and I found it noisy enough to have to resort to using ear plugs to sleep. The restaurants and bars appear to stay open very late, until way after midnight, and there was a LOT of street noise. My second stay was horrible. I was given a room on Level 2, so closer to street level, and the noise just never stopped. I was in room 205 which appeared to be on a busy street, and the traffic and noise from restaurants, bars and local residential area went on until the small hours of the morning. I actually thought the window was open until I checked! Ear plugs hardly made any difference. Worse still was the yowling of what sounded like a cat being tortured which went on for at least an hour. Of course the hotel has no control over these external occurrences, but bear in mind if you're thinking of staying here that the lower floors are not the place to be! Another issue I had was with the room I was given on my second stay which was not the single room I had booked. I was told on checking in that I had been "upgraded" to a double room, but it would be impossible for two people to be sharing this room which was the size of a walk-in wardrobe in an average home. The queen-sized bed was squeezed into an area so small that it was up against walls on three sides, and there was no suitable place to put a single bag, apart from on the floor in the short entrance passageway from the door. After a 17-hour flight, it felt like too much of a hassle to ask to change rooms once I saw what I had been allocated, but I would be very careful to make sure you get the room you've booked. I haven't been able to find a picture of this room anywhere on the Hotel Nuve website either, so assume it's not one of their standard rooms, but just brought into service when required. The fact that I also had just about no sleep for two nights because of the noise from outside probably means I'd be reluctant to stay here again.
