We stayed at the hotel for 3 days following a Far East cruise and what a fabulous hotel it was. As soon as you walk into the reception area there's just an air of tranquillity and the greenery throughout the hotel just adds to the feeling. We'd booked a Marina Bay view room but whilst checking in we were asked by Hailey on reception if, for a fee, we'd like to upgrade to a Collection Club Marina Bay room. We were unsure initially but we are so very glad we did and we can't thank Hailey enough for suggesting the upgrade. The upgrade meant we could check in straight away (we'd arrived around 10 am and check in was likely between 2-3 pm), the room was on a much higher floor and so the view over the marina, and across to the Marina Bay Sands hotel, was fabulous. The room was wonderful and what you'd expect for a 5 star hotel and unexpectedly there was a also a complimentary picnic basket in the room filled with savoury and sweet treats. We had access to the Club Lounge which was elegant and tranquil and had amazing views over the marina. We were able to have breakfast, afternoon snacks and evening canapes plus cocktails in the lounge. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Adam who welcomed us on our first day, told us how things worked in the lounge and over the following days made a point of welcoming us and giving us useful information about places to see. The food was varied, plentiful and delicious and we enjoyed it so much there wasn't a need to find places to eat so we had much more time to explore Singapore. I do have one small negative though. When you walk out of your room there's always the beautiful sound of birdsong which is just wonderful but I was a bit disappointed to see that it was 'actual' birdsong i.e birds in cages. I would much prefer actual birdsong which is via a recording as I don't like to see birds in small cages. Aside from that it was all positive and should we visit Singapore again we'd 100% book this hotel.

A lovely hotel with a beautiful atmosphere, stayed 5 days and haven’t had a better experience at a hotel, friendly staff and very helpful, made us feel very welcome and helped us find the best places to go, Ganesan in particular was a very jolly and friendly person helped us sort out our bags on first arrival and made sure we settled in alright, greeting us with some complementary chocolates.

“Excellent”

Amazing place to stay. Close to everything. Clean and comfortable. Staff is absolutely amazing. Ganesan was the bomb, very friendly and explained everything to us. I would stay here again. Family friendly, breakfast wonderful, access to gum and pool. Very efficient people.
