This is definitely our go to hotel in Singapore. 2nd stay & never disappoints. A big thanks to Eddy who met us at the front door on arrival & took us over to check in including organizing a fantastic room for us with extras. He is an absolute credit to the hotel & set the tone for a great stay. Our room 5854 could not have been better & the view was breathtaking. The Executive Lounge on 65 is impressive, & certainly 1 of the best exec lounges we’ve been to in Accor hotels in Asia. We will be back!

Fantastic 5 star hotel located in a unparalleled location for business activities with Suntec City, Marina Bay, the Financial District and extensive landmark sites, cultural experiences, shopping districts and culinary delights all at your doorstep. The team provided a extremely high standard of service, most notably Mrs Kim Hang, whose immense focus on room upkeep, sincere service and cleanliness, stands out from other 5 star hotel chains. Plenty of great restaurants, cafes, bistros, and bars, whilst located atop of a shopping centre. The tennis courts, pool and fitness facilities are of a high standard surpassing similar independent commercial facilities. Will definitely stay here again.

I stayed at Swissôtel The Stamford for a week while visiting Singapore for business and overall had a really positive experience. The location was especially convenient since the hotel is directly connected to a mall, making it very easy to access coffee shops, restaurants, and other essentials without needing to go far. The hotel is also extremely close to the MRT/metro, which made getting around Singapore very easy and efficient for both meetings and exploring the city during downtime. One of my favorite features was the balcony in the room. It was nice to be able to step outside and enjoy the view of the city rather than being completely enclosed like many hotels. The overall views from the hotel were honestly amazing and were one of the highlights of the stay. The laundry service was also excellent, and housekeeping did a really great job throughout my stay. Housekeeping staff was really nice and friendly. One day they even made a towel swan in the room, which was a very sweet touch and made the stay feel more personal. The main downside during my stay was the shower temperature. The shower water was consistently very cold. I initially called midday before heading out for work so someone could check the shower while I was gone, but there was no communication afterward about whether the issue had been resolved, and when I returned late that evening, the water was still cold. The next day I asked to switch rooms, and the staff were very kind and accommodating about moving me. I was told the shower in the new room would be checked before confirming the move, but unfortunately the second room still had the same issue. I initially thought maybe it was just normal in Singapore, but I later spoke with other people staying at the hotel who said they had very hot showers. I also noticed another review from someone staying at the same time mentioning cold shower issues, so I don’t think it was user error on my part, especially since the sink had hot water without any issue. Since I had already switched rooms once, I didn’t really want to keep bothering staff about it and ended up just dealing with the cold showers for the rest of the stay. Another minor issue was the initial check-in experience. Hospitality in Singapore is generally excellent, so this stood out a bit. I arrived very early in the morning around 5:30 a.m. after a long flight, and although I had intentionally booked the room starting the previous night so I could check in immediately, the receptionist seemed skeptical at first and questioned whether I was actually able to check in before confirming the reservation details. The gym setup was another mixed point for me. The fitness center is actually located in the spa area of the Fairmont Hotel, so you have to walk across the pool area to access it. Because it has no external windows, the gym feels fairly dark and enclosed compared to other hotel gyms. It’s also on the smaller side and can get very crowded. One Monday around 9 a.m., I was still able to use the cardio machines, but there wasn’t really enough space in the strength training area to complete my workout comfortably. Overall, I think the hotel works well for business travel because the location is excellent and it’s very convenient for getting around the city. However, if I were personally paying for a vacation stay, I probably would choose a different property. In my opinion, while the hotel has many positives, the overall experience did not fully feel like a true five-star hotel. I would probably compare it more to a solid Sheraton-level hotel in the U.S. rather than a luxury five-star experience.
