I'd like to give the highest praise and sincere thanks to the staff who greeted me at the entrance to the St Regis Hotel. They were so good. I have a wheelchair that I use to help me walk and one of them escorted me the whole way to the ramp up to the restaurant where I was joining a group of friends for a high tea farewell to one of our members. When I had to leave I was again looked after with great good grace as I waited at the door for my husband to pick me up. I enjoyed a lovely conversation with the concierge and saw how much the staff on duty that day, 10 June, enjoyed their work, greeting every visitor warmly and sincerely. Although the high tea fare was not to my liking, the staff who greeted me and helped me to the car made my day. I was so proud that they represent the spirit of Singapore's warmth and kindheartedness to visitors and locals alike. Great job, guys!

It's far from the MRT station, but close to a bus stop. There's no hawker center nearby. I'd used a Nightly upgrade award to a suite, but was declined, and upgraded to the highest category of twin room, the Lady Astor Guest Room with double beds. I arrived at the hotel at 12 noon and was immediately seated, given bottled water, and the lobby was cool, making it very comfortable after walking around. The lobby has plenty of seating, but the ceiling isn't high enough. The room is ready, so the benefits include early check-in at 12:00, late check-out at 4:00 PM, free breakfast, free aperitivo hour from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, and a free upgrade. Really great hospitality. Upon check-in, my daughter immediately given a St. Regis doll without asking. St. Regis tradition, Champagne Sabrage, is also available every 6:30 PM in the lobby. While in Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, and Bali, you can request drinks like coffee, tea, and iced chocolate at any time, in Singapore are only available once at check-in, and are considered a welcome drink delivered to your room. The St. Regis Singapore has undergone room renovations, so while the rooms retain their classic feel, the carpets are new, and various other materials have also been replaced. The 140x200cm beds each come with 4 pillows and 1 decorative pillow, for a total of 10 pillows. There's a bench in front of the bed. There's also a sofa and a work desk. I think the renovation is much better, as the previous photo used a red color. This new one has more Chinese wallpaper, curved panels, and classic ornaments. The minibar has a dispenser that can provide both hot and cold water. You'll also be offered bottled mineral water if you need to go out. The bathroom is quite spacious and efficient, with a dressing table, bathtub, double vanity facing each other, a toilet, and a shower. The toilet isn't electric and there's no seat heater. Amenities are complete and meet St. Regis standards, including sachajuan and sodashi. The swimming pool is long enough and quite busy. It has a tropical feel, surrounded by greenery. The gym is good equipment. Aperitivo hours are limited to two drinks (see the menu in the photo), served with bread, cheese, antipasti, and cold cuts. The quality of the cold cuts is good. We continued on to the champagne sabrage at 6 p.m. We were given a glass of champagne. We returned to our room and found out we were given a chocolate cake, even though we hadn't requested it. For breakfast, there was a buffet and an a la carte menu. The ingredients used were high-quality, and the taste was quite good, There was quite a lot of variety. Menu: 1. A la carte = epicurean omelet (with tiger prawns, lobster bisque, and avruga pearls), eggs benedict, other egg creations, French toast, oatmeal, aloo pratha, plant-based egg roulade, avocado toast 2. Sausages, bacon, plant-based meatballs, sautéed vegetables, beans, tomatoes, hash browns, sushi 3. Fruit, fresh juice, cold cuts, cheese, pastry, Danish pastries, doughnuts, bread, Indian food 4. Spring rolls, waffles, prawn net rolls, porridge, fried rice, fried noodles, siomay, hakau 5. Cereal, nuts, dried fruit, yogurt, pudding, noodle station

I’m a frequent guest of St. Regis properties across Hong Kong, Macau and Kuala Lumpur, so I had high expectations for The St. Regis Singapore during my graduation trip stay, yet my experience came with several noticeable downsides alongside classic brand luxury. First of all, room sound insulation was far below standard. I could clearly hear hallway footsteps and neighbouring room noise throughout the night, which disrupted rest significantly. Secondly, unlike every other St. Regis I’ve visited, this location does not offer 24-hour complimentary beverage service via butler, a core signature amenity of the brand that I rely on heavily, which felt disappointing. My arrival also left a negative first impression: the doorman/concierge saw I was travelling alone but did not greet me or offer to assist with my luggage, forcing me to carry all my bags into the lobby by myself. That said, the timeless upscale luxury aesthetic of St. Regis still holds up here—spacious rooms, elegant classic decor and premium facilities deliver the premium atmosphere you expect from the brand. Where the hotel truly shone was the dedicated butler team. I informed them this trip marked my graduation travel, and they went above and beyond to prepare a custom celebration cake, signature St. Regis butler teddy bear and genuine leather luggage tags as thoughtful complimentary gifts. This personal, heartfelt gesture fully offset much of my earlier disappointment and made the stay memorable. Overall this hotel retains St. Regis’ iconic opulence, but front-of-house concierge and core butler beverage services lag behind sister properties in Asia. If management aligns service standards with other regional St. Regis locations, it would be a flawless luxury pick for Singapore.
