Lovely and reasonably priced. Reception staff was helpful explaining the city, transportation and accommodating our extra requests. The restaurant food was nice and the bar staff was EXCELLENT, had a bottle of local wine and they took the time to decant it and give us the full wine tasting experience. We stayed here for the race, they opened breakfast early for the runners (7am) and arranged a cab for us at 7:45. Be sure to book a cab in advamce as they are busy the morning of the race. In retrospect we could have gotten a cab a bit later, 8:15 or so, as it was very easy to get to the start of the race at 9am.

I stayed here for a one night mini spa break and visit to Slovakia as we were close by. The hotel was really nice and the food is not disappoint. The only thing was that there was not much choice on the menu, but it tasted great. The room was spacious and a really good price. We really enjoyed the spa area with a nice choice and staff were really friendly. Overall very clean and a nice stay,.I would happily go back

“Nice 4 Kosice”

Nice Hotel with very good food ,Tasty beer, Welness Servise need more experiens but is ok. Shower is small but maybe it was just in my room. Aroud hotel you can have nice walk in litlle Forrest very romantic palce.Perfect for couple or family.

We stayed at Hotel Bankov Košice from July 10–14, and unfortunately our overall experience was rather disappointing. The surroundings of the hotel are very nice and peaceful, however the hotel itself is clearly in need of renovation. We understand the intention to preserve a “historic” or old-style atmosphere, but in several aspects it feels more like outdated maintenance rather than a conscious design choice. The room was small and lacked basic amenities such as a refrigerator, kettle, and air conditioning. The wooden windows were difficult to open and close, and our room was located above the kitchen, where very loud ventilation fans were running constantly, making it hard to rest. The restaurant was another major disappointment. We have food intolerances, and despite clearly requesting allergen-free meals, I experienced serious stomach issues within an hour and had to rush to the bathroom. Even though we hesitantly gave the restaurant another chance, the food was neither tasty nor special. The main reason for choosing this hotel was the wellness area, which failed to meet expectations. The jacuzzi was not working at all, there were only three small saunas, and a small cold pool. This is far below what we would expect from a 4-star hotel. Overall, the stay did not live up to the standard the hotel claims to offer, and we left feeling disappointed.
