A budget friendly hotel located very close to Haeundae Beach Busan. Hotel was very well maintained. The room is not large but have adequate space. Fairfield Busan did have great location. close to the beach and other interesting locations near Haeundae area. The hotel have paid laundry facility on site which is very convenient for extended stay guests. Definitely a great place to stay while not breaking the budget. PS, special thanks to Mr. Brian Park for the surprise birthday present!

“Ok hotel, no highs and no lows too”

The room was comfortable - I was alone. I think it might be a cramp one if 2 persons. But it served well. Staff cleaned the place well. Location was not near much, walkable to major spots. The room was comfortable - I was alone. I think it might be a cramp one if 2 persons. But it served well. Staff cleaned the place well. Location was not near much, walkable to major spots. Service front Front Desk needs very gentle handling. Smile to them and they will smile back. Most are very young ladies who can look aloof when first approach. Tip: DO NOT have breakfast at their restaurant, even though seems cheap when buy coupon from Front Desk. Extremely lacking and we were the only table who made that mistake one morning.

I was very much looking forward to my stay at the Fairfield by Marriott Busan. However, despite the excellent location, the principal reason for choosing it, it really did not live up to my expectations. There were no major issues apart from one, but that and all the minor ones did add up. Firstly, when I was checking in, there was very little information provided orally, and there was no acknowledgment of being a Marriott Bonvoy Platinum member- the latter no problem just a little surprising because I always thought it was part of the Marriott group staff training. The former though was a bit more of an issue as the hotel’s method of disseminating information to its guests is through an A4 information may seem efficient, more specific booking information such as whether my particular booking included breakfast would have been helpful. There were several other minor issues such as having everything to make a coffee but nothing to mix it with. Originally, I thought this could have been a possible oversight, and it was just that one day. However, it happened throughout my stay but again no major problem. What really was frustrating was having only two elevators to serve 22 floors. Sometimes if the elevator took too long, you would have to press for it again. The amount of time you will waste waiting for elevators will be infuriating. I sometimes wanted to take the stairs but a bit difficult when you’re on the 19th floor. All in all, it is a reasonable hotel in a great location, but just a little disappointing for a Marriott Bonvoy group hotel.

Of the two Busan Fairfield hotels this one has the smaller rooms, but a good location in Haeundae near the beach 🏝️ with lots to do ☕️ 🥘 Was informed that Fairfied Asia Pacific does not honor included breakfast for Platinum or Titanium Elite. Would have been nice to have a grab & go breakfast or at least some decent coffee, as only instant in room ☕️ Braved the elements 🥶 to a Starbucks nearby and Pascussi on the beach the next day. Coffee machine in the lobby that looked like for purchase, next to a vending machine of disposable toiletries 🪥 Front desk gave us a sheet regarding the thermostat in the room, instructing you to turn off the heater and open the window. Could deal with the small room for the great location, but not for how stuffy and uncomfortable it was. Even more so on the latter part of the stay when the room rate doubled (weekend)💰 Closed the window on returning in the evening but woke up early the next morning stuck to the sheets, as the room was like a sauna 🥵 It’s a small room with an open floor plan to save space so the shower door is also the bathroom door 🚽 Saves them on building materials but really limits your privacy. There is a sliding door that goes across the room behind the sink. Maybe an older hotel before as no lighted DND sign either. Modern touches are USB ports at bed nightstands and Samsung smart TV. Limited channels but had Netflix and YouTube buttons. Enjoyed BBC Earth in the morning, unfortunately with instant coffee ☕️ 🤦🏻‍♂️ Water bottles,no minibar. Ice machine 🧊 and buckets in basement by the gym. Location for price the pro, but would never stay here again in the winter ❄️
