Good location as it was near eateries and the metro. The room was clean, spacious and the furniture allowed us to put two luggage cases above the floor. The staff were very helpful, offering us umbrellas when it drizzled a little. The directions on the metro exit was useful if heavy luggage was carried. For the price, it was very worthwhile. However I would give a higher rating if the room were brighter with better looking furnishings. They could have allowed a continental type breakfast for those who may not be used to local food in the morning.

Budget-y accommodation, clean and spacious room and bathroom. Deluxe rooms apparently have facilities for some cooking and washing machines. Breakfast can be something to get used to if you're not used to Korean style breakfast. Hotel is located along an inner lane which is pretty quiet area in Seomyeon, but there are food options & convenience stores nearby. Seomyeon Station exit 12 is your choice if you have luggage as it has an elevator, while Exit 10 has an escalator that goes up from the station to the street level, exit 8 is probably the closest but it is only staircases at that exit. Staff were friendly and helpful and they have some recommendations for eats nearby on a flip stand near the (single) elevator. If you forget or your travel adapter doesn't work with the recessed power sockets, you could borrow one from the hotel for a (refundable) KRW1,000 deposit. They were prefectly fine with depositing luggage before check in and after checkout. Early check in's can cost KRW10,000 per hour as do later check outs for a similar rate. Checking out at noon (an hour past their 11am check out time) is ok on request. But charges apply for later.

Residence Mumum is located in Seomyeon, not far from one of the Seomyeon Station exits. It's in a sort of back-alley area, but it's still relatively safe. The front desk staff is friendly and proficient in English. We were able to leave our luggage in the lobby when we arrived early to check-in and after check-out when we wanted to still explore. The room is spacious and clean, though the sink is located outside of the bathroom near the bed. The bathroom has an open area shower, so when you shower, the whole floor of the bathroom gets wet. Part of what I paid included free breakfast. The offerings were good, but note it is mostly Korean food (i.e. rice, kimchee, miso-type soup, beansprouts, etc.). Overall, the hotel is a fine place to stay in Busan if you are on a budget.

First impression wasnt that great as it was located somewhere like back alley. Upon checking in, room was spacious, theres a double bed a single beside. It was like a small apartment with washing machine, oven and washing area. Breakfast provided and was surprisingly greeted by staff once the lift door open. Food was simple but freshly cook by the kitchen. Walking distance to subway station and shopping street. Decorations in room was simple but worth to stay.

“Not recommended for light sleepers”

Hotel location is near seomyeon exit 8 and 12. Room is quite dark, air conditioning is noisy, fridge will have noises. Blinds is not opaque and will be bright around 6am. Breakfast is very homely. Not recommended for light sleepers.
