Overall very nice,wonderful housekeeping,attentive staff full breakfast make this a good placecto explore downtown for several days..only downside more usb ports would be appreciated

We had a very good trip in South Korea, my dream with the agency Paralela 45. We stayed here for 4 night, 2 on the beginning and 2 in the end of the trip. The room was good, clean and comfortable. The only thing that make me curios was the part of the bathroom, things which were directly in the room immediately when we opened the door. Probably there are other many normal room. For us was the first time to see something like that. The breakfast was very good and we had for those 4 days a pleasant stay. I recommend this hotel if you come in Seoul.

“Nice and comfortable”

It was a nice and comfortable stay. The hotel staff were courteous and catered to our requirement as per their Hotel policy promptly. It is near Myeongdong market . There is a supermarket in the ground floor which is open till 11.15 pm . There is no room service

A good, travellers hotel in a reasonable location in Seoul. If you're travelling in from Incheon, the airport bus stops right outside - and also picks you up on the way back: journey time is around 2 hours, depending on traffic. Rooms are spacious and clean; pillows super-soft; fridge in the room… more

A good, travellers hotel in a reasonable location in Seoul. If you're travelling in from Incheon, the airport bus stops right outside - and also picks you up on the way back: journey time is around 2 hours, depending on traffic. Rooms are spacious and clean; pillows super-soft; fridge in the room, and shower is excellent. Breakfast buffet is pretty average for this kind of hotel. The hotel is clearly popular with large groups, especially of students, so try to avoid breakfast before 7.30am - if you do go down earlier, be prepared to queue! We paid 40,000 won on the last day for late check-out at 4.00pm which was well worth it; also used the same-day laundry service which worked out very well too.

Pros - Kukdo hotel is a very convenient place to stay in Seoul. The airport bus stop is right in front of the hotel as well as subway station and bus stops nearby. The hotel also has a convenience store and pharmacy located in the building. There is a large food court nearby in the adjacent office building as well. It is within walking distance of Gwangjang market and Myeongdong. Overall it is a good place for someone who has not been to Korea before. The housekeeping staff was also very friendly. Cons - The rooms are outdated and need touch up. Door frames were peeling. In the bathroom, there were worn and moldy bathroom tiles. Some of the wires in the room seemed so worn i was worried about a fire hazard. One our beds also had moldy sheets which we let the front desk know about. The AC in the building was not turned on our first night making it extremely hot and the staff provided us a fan for our stay. No on-site laundry either. Overall, I would book again for the location and ONLY if i could find the stay at a discount.
