First time in Korea. We flip-flopped over which area and hotel to stay. Finally, we decided to stay here because of the amenities. This is a great place to stay. Yeosuido is a financial district, so it is not the typical hectic downtown neighborhood. We loved our stay, and they made us feel like it is a home away from home. Fitness centre is typical of hotels. Lots of places to eat and shop. If you are a runner, there are plenty of running paths nearby.

“Great place in Yeouido.”

This place is amazing!!! I stayed here with for 5 nights, and I took advantage of all the amenities. There is a Dr Robbin’s restaurant right in the lobby that has the best pumpkin cream soup!!! This place is amazing!!! I stayed here with for 5 nights, and I took advantage of all the amenities. There is a Dr Robbin’s restaurant right in the lobby that has the best pumpkin cream soup!!! The front desk staff was totally amazing, Haeri was so nice, I wanted to hang out and be besties with her. She helped us order the famous Korean fried chicken from BBQ. William had a great sense of humor and Mason was the perfect gentleman, always opening the door for us. The rain shower in the bathroom was super cool, and the kitchen utensils were great for cooking. They had everything you needed. Rachel helped me book a massage at Hanoi, and that place is awesome. Amy was amazing also, telling me about her trip to America and let’s not forget Stella, Jessica, and Jane who always greeted us and were so helpful with taxis and directions. We also had groceries delivered from the Hyundai, and they were amazing and took them to our apartment. The Yeouido area is amazing, you’re close to so many restaurants and shopping, the park is across the street with the National Assembly. I highly recommend this place if you want the convenience of a kitchen and laundry, since there is a washer and dryer in the apartment.

“The Best Stay in Seoul!”

My husband and I stayed in a 1 Bedroom Executive Apartment at the Yeouido Marriott Executive Apartments at the beginning of November. Our room was on the 9th floor and offered a wonderful view of Yeouido Park. It was very quiet, with no street noise. The room matched the pictures we saw online, and the kitchen was equipped with all the necessary appliances and fully stocked kitchenware. Although the building is older, our room had been completely updated, was clean, and showed no signs of wear and tear. All the features worked without any issues. The room has underfloor heating, but the weather wasn't cold enough for us to use it. There is a separate air conditioning unit, and we were able to adjust the temperature as desired; the coldest setting we used was 20°C. A huge benefit of staying in an apartment was having a washing machine and dryer inside the unit, allowing us to do laundry during the second half of our trip. While the hotel doesn’t offer as many amenities as some other hotels, there is a gym and spa available. We utilized the gym during our stay, which was spacious and had plenty of exercise machines, along with an open area for stretching or yoga. This gym had the largest variety of equipment compared to other hotels we stayed at, which was a nice bonus. The Marriott staff was the friendliest we encountered throughout our trip to Seoul! Special shout-outs to Jessica and Kim Hae Ri for making our stay so wonderful! They assisted us with storing our luggage a few days before our check-in date while we traveled to Jeju Island, and they even offered a late checkout. Additionally, they provided us with local recommendations, which we greatly appreciated. It was clear that the staff genuinely cared about our stay and made us feel at home. Even though we tried our best to speak Korean when possible, every staff member we interacted with understood English. The location is a bit farther from some of the main tourist attractions in Seoul. Our commute to certain places took anywhere from 30 to 60 minutes using public transit. However, there is a bus stop directly outside the hotel, and the closest subway station is about a 10-minute walk away. A 7-Eleven convenience store is located on the basement level of the hotel, which was handy for quick snacks or drinks. Also, Yeouido Park, which is across the street, is beautiful for strolling, especially to enjoy the fall foliage in Seoul. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to my family and friends, and I would certainly stay here again on my next trip to Seoul!

In a high-tech Seoul, I found these hotel apartments to be very dated, old, and lack-lustre. The stay was OK. Despite booking a one-bedroom suite, I found the room to be small. Has a very dated look with wooden flooring. No USB points. No Bidet in the bathroom. The room is ordinary. The reception is small, and it did take around 15 minutes for us to get checked-in which by today's standards is long. Not a very good experience. There are much better choices, if you are staying in Yeouido.
