Stayed for 7 nights at Splaisir Seoul Dongdamun with my family at a family room with one King and one double bed, it was still have space for my 4 pieces of luggage. The hotel location was great that have subway entrance right opposite to the hotel. We checked in early morning, room was not ready yet but we could kept all luggages inside their free lockers on 2/F. The 7-11, shopping mails and food shops were closed by. The tours pick up point at Dongdaemun area was just one minutes from the hotel. Thank you to their Front Desk Supervisor - Azuma S who were very helpful with excellent service. I definately will choose this hotel again when come back to Seoul.

We stayed here in September 2023 for 3 nights. Location was convenient as it is directly at exit 10 of Dongdaemun History and Culture Park station. It was very convenient for day tours where the pick up point is just next door. Room was spacious for Seoul standards and bed was comfortable. Bathroom amenities and bidet were top notch. Staff was hesitant in English, but were very helpful and tried their best to answer our queries. We enjoyed our stay here!

My wife and I stayed here for three days in April. I wanted to like this hotel because it has a lot going for it, but I would not return there. Here are the positives: The hotel is centrally located in the central part of Seoul, and an elevator to the metro station is just a few steps in front of the hotel. The subway station has three lines going through it too. The area is full of several Korean and international restaurants, and cafes. Our room was spacious, and included a king size bed and a sofa. The bathroom was large and included a rain shower with a regular shower head also. The hotel has a large gym, and, laundry facilities. Here are the negatives: The hotel rooms face a major street and you can hear traffic night and day through the windows. A lot of cars like to race up and down the street at night, so it is quite noisy. The master light switch beside the bed shuts off ALL lights, so you can not use the desk while another person is in bed. There are no separate light controls on the other side of the bed, either. Only wall charging for phones work when all the lights are turned off. Worst of all, though, is the hotel's breakfast. It was HORRIBLE! Do not eat here! Not only is there a limited choice of food in their buffet but many items were undercooked. The buffet was not kept stocked during breakfast hours, even though they had plenty of staff. This is a Japanese hotel chain and they would be appalled if they knew how bad it was. The kitchen staff seriously need retraining. The food is poorly prepared. Furthermore, while I was staying at the hotel, I booked some train tickets that forced us to leave on the last day before the breakfast buffet opened. I tried to get a refund on our buffet tickets, but I was told that once I bought them there was no refund. The buffet cost about $17 USD each, so we were out $34. I had bought three days of breakfast for us, when I made my reservation. I recommend skipping this hotel especially due to their horrible breakfast buffet, poor business practices, and the noisy rooms at night.
