Before my son was even born, this hotel became a part of my life. Now, he is almost five years old, and it feels to realize that my relationship with this hotel and its wonderful hoteliers has already lasted more than five years. And yet, I have never once written a proper review — which is why I felt it was time to put my gratitude into words. First of all, I would like to sincerely thank the General Manager(Ms. Diana) and every member of the hotel team. You have shown me what true consistency and care really mean. In particular, I would like to express my deepest appreciation to Mr. Owen, Ms. Christine, and Ms.Irene(thank you for sticker which you gave to my son, he loves that). Your kindness and support have helped me more than I can properly express. During the difficult times when my mother was ill, and later when my father passed away, your thoughtfulness and compassion meant more to me and my family than you may realize. The care you showed to my wife and son, despite the language barrier, and the attention you gave during my mother’s 70th birthday celebration — these are moments I will always remember. Without exaggeration, you are among the hoteliers who have had the most positive impact on my life. The sincere care you provide, which goes far beyond the usual boundaries of a guest–hotel relationship, is something truly special. I strongly believe that this spirit is one of the main reasons this hotel continues to grow and prosper. I have complete faith that you will continue to uphold this warm hospitality. Until then, I wish all of you good health, and I hope to see you again soon on my next visit.

Courtyard Marriott Suwon – Solid Stay in a Fantastic Spot Just wrapped up a stay at the Courtyard Marriott Suwon and here’s the deal: it’s all about location, location, location. This place is planted right next to the massive Galleria Mall, which honestly has one of the best food courts I’ve ever come across. Korean, Japanese, Western, street-style eats—you name it, they’ve got it. If you’re the kind of traveler who gets cranky without good food nearby, this is your spot. Bonus: Lotte Mall is right there too, so retail therapy is never far. The hotel itself is pretty much what you’d expect from a Courtyard—clean, modern, and efficient. Don’t expect over-the-top luxury, but everything works, beds are comfy, and service is polite and smooth. If you’re a Marriott Bonvoy member, free Starbucks drinks are a sweet perk you don’t want to miss. Great for that morning caffeine hit before heading out. Only downside? Not much of a “resort” vibe—don’t come expecting spa days or scenic views. But if you’re in Suwon for business, shopping, or just a quick stopover, this hotel ticks all the right boxes. Final verdict: Not flashy, but functional and super convenient. 8.5/10, would stay again for the location alone.

I stayed at the Courtyard Suwon for 2 nights on business and was very happy with my stay. Breakfast had a large selection of options and was a great way to start your day. The hotel is situated adjacent to a very nice upscale mall and also adjacent to a huge pond/mini-lake with a full boardwalk area for walking or jogging while drinking in the city skyline. Will definitely make return visits based on the quality of hotel and fabulous location.

This is a great choice when traveling on business in Korea - especially if you need a somewhat central location from which to travel in different directions. The hotel is located outside the heart of Seoul which will allow for shorter travel times since the worst Seoul traffic will be avoided. The location is convenient and in area with several dining and entertainment options close by. The normal, excellent Marriott service along with clean and well-appointed rooms make this a convenient and lesser cost option for business in Korea. I recommend this hotel over all of the other “Western” hotel options located on the outskirts of Seoul - especially for value and convenience.
