Basic hotel with large clean rooms. The Staff at the front desk tried to be helpful but spoke little or no English. The service was not the best. No ice available for rooms but plentiful water. There was a soccer tournament in town, and our floor was filled with rooms of four teenagers sharing a room, leaving their doors open and frequently visiting one another. Nevertheless, the noise was minimal, partly given the interior door between the entrance and the room, and the extremely good manners of the local team! The hotel is a great bargain but pretty basic. There is free coffee in the lobby, and they provide unlimited water. Bathroom amenities included already opened bar soap, lotion, previously used hair brushes and hair spray, and toothpaste. Two packets of instant coffee and a kettle were also in each room, along with tea. There was a refrigerator to store beverages and other things, and a shared microwave on the first floor. The hotel is very well located directly across from a 7-Eleven and many good restaurants, including the fried chicken place right next door at the Yam Hotel, which was open quite late, and Namco for a great burger and fries. There are many cafes within a minute or two walk and many Korean barbecue places but those tend to close by 9:00 p.m. Opt for the room with the sauna and extra-large bathroom. It is really nice, although no views.

Centrally located in town, 20 min bus journey from the train station. Stayed on a room only basis for one night. Very spacious room and bathroom. Bath towels were tiny hand towels only. Centrally located in town, 20 min bus journey from the train station. Stayed on a room only basis for one night. Very spacious room and bathroom. Bath towels were tiny hand towels only. No plug sockets near the bed. But otherwise fine, beds firm and comfortable. If you are going to the folk village and arriving by bus or train you can leave your luggage in the bus station next to the train station.

“Fine for just 1 night”

Spacious room and bathroom. Powerful shower. Shampoo, conditioner & body wash were provided. Great location for the Mask Festival. Quite dated and tired. There seemed to be a tent in the parking area which restricted a lot of spaces, we had to park on the road to the side of the hotel.

The family room was a good size.We had no issues with the room and cleanliness. The person at reception tried to be helpful but could only speak Korean.They organised taxis for us as the hotel is far from the railway station. Older maps showed it as close to the station but the station was recently moved to a new location out of town. We spent one night as we only went to visit Hahoe Village and then move on the next day. There is a bus to and from the village that stops close to the hotel.
