Our second time staying at this hotel which has an ocean view and easy access to many eateries and shops - the black pork street, Dongmun market and fresh seafood street, as well as Chilseongro shopping street and Dongmun underground shopping are within short walking distance. The rooms are big and clean, the comfort of the beds could be improved but overall, we would be back when visiting Jeju again!

Our three nights stay overall experience was great. Check-in was quick, staff service at Front Desk was efficient. Room allocated on 8th floor (11th floor is highest floor) corner room facing sea. Our three nights stay overall experience was great. Check-in was quick, staff service at Front Desk was efficient. Room allocated on 8th floor (11th floor is highest floor) corner room facing sea. Room was clean, quiet spacious and satisfactory. Breakfast provided good selection, fresh ingredients. No frails with nice view overlooking the sea view. Two concerns are if you misplace your room keys, staff may ask you to pay even if it's not your fault. Located about 15 minutes drive away from the Jeju international airport in Jeju, South Korea, the Hotel Regent Marine The Blue Jeju is a 4-star business and leisure hotel situated along a picturesque waterfront, and within walking distance of the city. Ambience is dated, most noticeable from the exterior facade windows, which are unclean. The warm lighting and extensive use of marble tiles, along with the carpeted floors, is a throwback to the design language of the 1990s. The lifts are slow, and therefore often crowded too, which means getting to and from your room requires some patience. Room are comfortable, clean, and spacious. The bed is large and clean, medium firm with good support. The bathroom is well-equipped with amenities, while the small living room makes for a decent working or dining area. The in-room wireless internet is fast and stable. Food is served at Latif Restaurant, which only operates during the day for breakfast and lunch. The place traps noise, so peak periods are particularly loud and buzzing. In the evening, operations are handed over to 3rd-party brand BBQ Olive Chicken & Beer, which specialises in Korean Fried Chicken. Their rendition of chimaek / fried chicken and beer is excellent, yum. Service is efficient and transactional. Beyond the reception at the lobby, there isn't much opportunity for interaction with staff. That said, the housekeeping is fast and efficient, and the restaurant staff work quickly to clean up when diners are finished. Oddly, staff never told us about the various shops co-located with the hotel, we'd eventually discovered it on our own. The facilities and activities cater to families and business travellers. The meeting rooms are decent and well-equipped, as is the gymnasium, though both are smaller when compared to elsewhere. The game room NOL-PANG has classic arcade games and UFO toy catchers, while the swimming pool is small but offers a beautiful view of the waterfront. Overall, staying at Hotel Regent Marine The Blue Jeju was a decent experience.

+ location close to Jeju-do city + room with 2 views to the sea + free WiFi + free water (1 bottle each person) + quiet + rich choice of breakfast for asian people - no free tooth paste & tooth brushers - limited choice of breakfast for european people (no fresh rolls, only 2 different choices of marmalade, only coffee, no Latte Macchiato or Cappuccino for breakfast) - no option for booking breakfast for the same day - price for breakfast on booking.com is not correct 15'000 kwn instead 14'000 kwn - no transfer service to the airport - 2 days delayed response to a question sent by mail - visa credit card not accepted and no check-in without pre-payment possible. So my wife need to wait in the lobby during I needed to search an ATM outside
