Even in the old wing of this hotel, this place feels indulgent and luxurious. We enjoyed our stay in a Double King Room with Ocean View - the view off the balcony was stunning. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with a nice sitting area. The pool was one of the best hotel pools I've experienced - the temperature was perfect and the water felt silky - like a spa pool. The facilities were exceptionally clean and the hotel staff friendly and professional. We especially appreciated the assistance of the concierge in everything from taxi arrangements to restaurant recommendations that went beyond the obvious tourist places - favorites included a local's pork galbi place in town and a Jeju black pig BBQ place that offers transportation to/from the hotel. The hotel is also a relatively easy walk from Cheonjeyeon Falls - a beautiful park with walks to 3 different waterfalls.

We stayed at the Club Prestige Suite for three nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The lobby area was beautifully decorated with the views of the ocean through the large glass windows. The reception was very friendly and helpful. Although we did not book an ocean view suite, we were happy with the partial ocean view from the master bedroom and the balcony. The two rooms were conveniently laid out with a living room in the middle and each bedroom with its own ensuite. The hotel is situated right by Jungmun Beach with great views of the ocean from many areas. Although the walk down to the beach isn’t stroller friendly, we managed to walk down the steps with a baby and a child. I had previously stayed at Shilla Hotel next door and the walk down to the beach could be equally challenging with little ones. The beach is scenic with golden sand and black rocks. We were satisfied that we opted in for the club lounge. The hotel itself was not busy in March and the club lounge definitely provided extra privacy. We had daily breakfast at the main restaurant, Confetti featuring a variety of Korean, Western and Chinese cuisines. We also tried afternoon tea at the club lounge. It did not have too many food options but served good quality snacks. They had limited options as we had two small children and the lounge did not allow children in the evening. However, we were pleasantly surprised that they arranged a special dinner for us at the main restaurant to accommodate children. Everyone we met at the hotel were extremely caring and attentive including a security guard who went above and beyond and personally escorted us when we asked for directions. We used the kids club a couple of times and we were the only ones there. It was very spacious and clean. We used the complimentary parking and drove our rental car all over the island. All in all, we really enjoyed the hotel as a base to discover Jeju Island.

Nice hotel, but definitely no 5-star level. The quality of service and food was disappointing. We had to leave to the airport at 7am. Breakfast is only available as of 7.30am. We booked our stay including breakfast and therefore asked for a refund for the breakfast of USD 50 for that day. This was refused, we asked then if they could take some other item of the bill to compensate for the breakfast. They refused as well. This is very customer unfriendly and inflexible. I recommend anyway NOT to book the breakfast option. The food is very mediocre, you have to get in line to get a coffee, this can take 5-10 minutes!!! There is no service you have to get everything yourself. They close already at 10.30am sharp!In the evening you can only get food until 9.30pm thereafter everything is closed with the exception of the bar. Fortunately there are numerous restaurants, cafés and convenience stores very close by. There is also a convenience stores right next to the hotel, also a bakery shop and café, so you are much better off with one of these options, it is also much cheaper. We are heavy travelers and therefore can compare to other 5 star hotels around the world. The best of Parnas is the location, but the whole infrastructure and service is lacking by far. The pool area is very limited and crowed. There are only sun chairs around the pool and it was very difficult to find a free one. There are no other outside options neither to sit nor to rest and relax. The outside seating area in the lobby was closed. On the positive side, parking is free.

Overall, our stay was average. The hotel is beautiful—from the lobby to the infinity pool—and our deluxe king ocean view room offered a nice ocean view. Service was generally okay, though we’ve experienced more attentive hospitality at other similarly rated properties. One concern we had was with the towels, which had a very very strong bleach smell. Approx an hour after using the towels, I developed a mild rash on my arm that continued to develop on the other arm the next day, and my partner noticed a similar reaction on his leg. The irritation began to fade the day after we checked out, which leads us to believe it may have been related. While the room looked clean at first glance, it didn’t feel thoroughly cleaned upon closer inspection. We stayed at another hotel in Jeju during the same trip and didn’t encounter any similar concerns, and the service there felt a step up. The pool area seemed to be clean though my husband observed some questionable debris floating in the hot tub.
