Our room was very large and clean. Bathroom was huge with a large shower stall and also a bathtub. There was a small refrigerator in the room. Front desk staff spoke no English but used a translator app on their phone to help solve a problem with our air con in our room; then it was nice and cool. Breakfast, well, meh! There is a sauna. The location is a bit too removed from town if you don't have your own transportation.

“Good!”

We stayed at the room with two double beds. It's spacious and clean. The bathroom is also spacious with shower boot and tub. Staffs were kind and helpful. Breakfast was so so. It took about 20 minutes to get to the EXPO area by car. This is not more or not less according to the price.

The rooms were clean, spacious, and modern. We had a balcony, which was a bonus. Breakfast was included. They also gave us a voucher for the sauna (closed between 11 pm - 1 am for cleaning) The rooms were nice and cool this time and not the usual "hot" as in other hotels. Breakfast was average, nothing spectacular. Internet is free and fast. Unfortunately, even though you got great views from the mountain - side, it's in the middle of no where. You need to take a taxi for restaurants or shopping.

The layout of this hotel is a bit odd as it seems that they initially built one area without forward planning and then tacked on additional sections as an afterthought (and I'm not even talking about the multiple buildings). For example, our room was on the third floor but to get to the dining area for breakfast (which is also on the third floor) in the same building, we had to go down the lift to the ground floor and then go across a hallway to another lift to go back up again. On the subject of lifts, I might add that there is only one lift to access the accommodation area of the hotel - yes, that's right, one lift for all guests to get to their rooms. The bathroom design is also particularly noteworthy, but also not for the right reasons. The shower is a glass cubicle but the door doesn't go to the floor so when in use, water escapes the shower area and flows across the bathroom floor to a drain hole near the bathtub - a very odd & flawed design! The room was quite spacious and clean but it is easy to see where cost cutting measures have been undertaken (cheaper fittings). The bed and pillows however were very comfortable. The design of the whole hotel is so flawed that it would probably make more sense knocking the whole thing down and starting again from scratch, but this is most likely financially unfeasible, so perserve they must. I probably wouldn't stay here again as the combination of all the above would motivate me to look elsewhere should I require accommodation again in Yeosu.
