“Good alternative if a Hanok is not your thing..”
Really good "modernish" hotel. Located about 12-15min walk to the old town. You do walk through some back streets, but all fine didn't feel unsafe coming back late a night after seeing the old town, palace and bridge at night. Korea is very safe. Stayed here for one night on our Gate 1 Tour, passing by from Seoul to Busan. Pros: Spacious Room. No nonsense bathroom with soap dispensers. Robes and slippers provided. A nice hotel within walking distance to the Hanok Village (about a kilometer or so). We got upgraded and had a lovely spacious room which included a bar area. We appreciated the kettle. The room had every amenity you might want. Free laundry do it yourself service was a major plus. Reception… more
