“Nice hotel but far from the centre”

I booked this hotel because Easyjet holidays described it as city centre so a bit disappointed to find it a good 30-35 minute walk into the centre through not very attractive residential areas. However taxis were cheap and the bus is always available. But I would pick somewhere closer to the historical centre or port if we went again. Aside from that, the hotel was pretty good. Comfortable room, good selection of toiletries in the room including a tooth brush and toothpaste and body lotion. Bed was pretty comfortable. Only downside was that aircon didn’t work and as we faced the street it was too noisy to open the window. Breakfast was decent enough with a good selection of eggs, cheese and other items. Coffee was tolerable (this is high praise from me) and there were some lovely cakes and buns that I wish I could eat in the morning. There is a small gym adequate for a basic workout.The rooftop pool was closed but it looked tiny anyway, but there was a nice terrace to sit on. Staff were very friendly and happy to store our luggage. Location wise it is at least convenient for a quick taxi to the airport. I would definitely use the sercotel chain again but not this location for central Malaga.

“A nice bed to come back to!”

I found the staff of this fairly large hotel to be quite friendly and helpful. But I thought that my room was valuable for money with its best feature being the enormous bed. I was on the fifth floor and the view over the city to the sea and mountains quite beautiful, especially at dawn.

A nice, new and modern hotel within walking distance of the city center. We booked four rooms and all of them were clean and well equipped. A nice, new and modern hotel within walking distance of the city center. We booked four rooms and all of them were clean and well equipped. One room had a bad smell from the bathroom, which we reported to reception - after it was cleaned, the problem was resolved. The staff were kind and helpful. A small misunderstanding at reception regarding breakfast on the day of departure was handled to our satisfaction. We had a pleasant stay.

Located 11 minutes from the airport. 10 minute bus ride away from city centre via number 17 bus outside the hotel. Reception staff were helpful and attentive on checking and with any further queries and airport transfer. Our room was ready early. Room was spacious and clean, bathroom was a good size, with some toiletries supplied shower was nice and hot. Quiet at night. A good selection at breakfast, although it was not hot barley warm even at 7am when the restaurant opens. A shopping centre is located next to the hotel.
