Melia Seville hotel was lovely, from when we checked in they explained everything in detail and it was really easy. The level up lounge was definitely worth it. It’s a beautiful and clean hotel. Even the food and drinks at the quimera restaurants was amazing. I was served by estefania and she was really friendly and kind. She accompanied to our needs and service was fast. The atmosphere in the hotel is pleasant everyone is friendly. The room we had was on the 10th floor the view from the room was amazing you can see the tourist attractions from the room and it was clean. The location was a 30 minute walk to the centre but taxis are cheap and takes 10/15 minutes to get into the centre of Seville. The nose level is quite in the room you cannot hear other people which is nice if you have come as a couple. Overall I would definitely staying at Melia. We went when it was the World Cup and they were showing it on multiple tvs.

We drove up from Calahonda for a 3 nights stay at the Melia Seville, we found the Parking options first class. We parked on Level -3 and then you can take the lift direct from your car to Reception or from the Car Park direct to your Room. A great option rather than dragging your cases through reception. We stayed in a Level Room which was great with a lovely Balcony and gave us access to the Level Lounge and Private check in, which was a nice touch as a coach just arrived before us which would have caused a lengthy delay. We was checked in the Level by Luna, a superb member of staff at the Level Reception.. You will read horror stories of people not being able to get a drink as the Pool Bar doesn’t open until 12.30pm, we’ll take the Level upgrade and you will have a beautiful Aircon lounge with unlimited Soft Drinks Wines & Beers non stop throughout the Day. It’s a must.. You also get a Served to order breakfast there, No Buffet.. The pool area was lovely and we felt it not a problem getting a Sunbed as there was a large turn over of people as it was so hot.. We felt the Melia was a perfect Hotel located directly in the centre of town over looking the Plaza, you can walk to everywhere from here, 20 mins walk to the Cathedral, it’s also perfectly safe at night to walk around. All in all, a Very Good 4 Star Hotel. We would certainly return.. Cheers Room 934

We came to this hotel for our honeymoon and as a travel agent myself to check the hotel out for future clients. We stayed in room 1102. This is a beautiful hotel with beautiful decor and great location into the city. A few past reviews mentioned the city was a bit far out but it is super close so don’t worry about getting around the city. I emailed in to speak to someone about being a travel agent and my visit but the email address given on the hotel information, no one returned my email which was a shame, however on arrival we got a bottle of cava and strawberries to celebrate our honeymoon later on our arrival day after mentioning it at reception. I asked for a balcony room and got told there was no availability which was a shame as on booking.com there was and was able to book a balcony room. We had a top level room however on the first morning there was some loud bangs that woke us up at 7am. The rooms are dated and need a refurb, the space to get out of the showers is so tight. We rang on the last day to ask someone to fix the chromecast in the tv in our room, someone came and then never fixed it so left. When we arrived to the room the first day the toilet seat fell off but contacted reception and someone came to fix it. We requested a king bed and got two twin beds so someone also came to fix this. Personally it’s little details that need to be worked on in this hotel that actually make a big difference. We paid £50 extra per night to get upgraded to the level. Yes this is worth it for the fact, breakfast is ordered to your table and Buffett and less busy with everyone else. What is frustrating is that you pay for it but can only eat and drink the items in that room. This would make this a 5* review if you could have a wristband saying you’ve paid for the level and then able to get drinks at each bar. We have now spent more money for buying drinks by the pool which we could get for free inside which is frustrating. I wouldn’t recommend upgrading to the level if you are planning to be around the pool a lot. The pool area there is not enough seats for everyone and people leave towels on chairs and go off for the day. There is a pool assistant who I personally think should go round removing towels off beds with no items with them so others can use them. The food was next level, we can’t complain! The staff in the restaurant by the pool were lovely. We had a few mistakes with our order on the last night however they fixed this and were super apologetic. Reception staff are all really kind and helpful too. As a travel agent I would send my clients if small improvements are made.
