I was gifted this stay for my birthday and I have to say that the staff went above and beyond to make it special for me. Veronica was super nice, she really gave us a 5* service! The hotel is in a very good location, the restaurants are good and although we weren’t able to use the pool during our stay it always seemed very clean. Thank you again Veronica!

“Long weekend in Seville”

I have spent few nights here to visit Seville. The location is great, it is possible to visit the full city walking. The hotel itself is comfortable and the staff is friendly, but it is possible to notice the signs of the time.

I had a good time and ended up extending my trip Big room and room had an EXCEPTIONALLY comfortable bed, jacuzzi, seperate shower with toilet and bidet. Excellent natural light and a view of the Plaza de espana. friendly staff and complimentary buffet with drinks, alcohol, breakfast, snacks and a dinner menu. Quite good quality for a buffet but bear in mind some food like pastries are put out over and over again until they are eaten so some get stale. very good selection of meats and cheeses and fruit. You can order fresh eggs, waffles, etc from the kitchen at no extra charge which was nice as they were fresh Hotel is huge and located right next to Plaza de espana BE AWARE The pool is closed during winter and open in summer. It was quite disappointing as it looked completely open and i looked forward to it. Despite it being a warm 20C T shirt weather day one day in December, the pool was closed. Sad as all i could do was sit by the pool and tan. The AC in the hotel rooms seems to be set to hot during winter, so when it did get a little hot, there was no way to cool down the room and it got to 28C and had to get maintenance to, i presume, switch the AC to cooling mode. it meant though that a few days later when it got cold the room was cold and couldnt heat up. Buffet food is sometimes recycled over and over again and is clearly not fresh, only for some items though. Dated technology in the rooms Gym is crap and has ancient creaky equipment and a broken barbell The Level has seperate check in desk which is up some small stairs, so you have to carry your suitcases up stairs once inside to check in and i was turned away from regular check in desk. We have stayed at The Level Melia Sevilla several times in the past, but this visit was after a few years gap. The hotel is in a great location, overlooking the Plaza De España and within a comfortable walking distance of the centre of Sevilla and all of its attractions. It is a large hotel and the exterior is starting to look its age. There is a very nice outside pool and bar area which unfortunately we couldn't use when we visited due to the weather. We checked in at the separate Level reception, which was quick, friendly and efficient. We had booked a Premium The Level room, and whilst it had a nice outlook, the furnishings were quite cheap looking and spartan, with lots of fake wood which in places was chipped. In the bathroom an electric plug was hanging off the wall. We did query whether it was in fact a premium room, but were assured that it was. On a positive note, the Level Lounge was good for early evening drinks and tapas, and breakfast there was also good, and the staff there were excellent. Overall we had an enjoyable stay but doubt we would stay there again unless the rooms are refurbished.
