I was fortunate to stay at this hotel for a special weekend. Converged by 100’s of us the facilities were perfect. The reception and bar staff brilliant, the waiting equally friendly. Rooms very comfortable, with a good powerful shower. The breakfast was typically Spanish and plentiful and the room we had for dinner and disco more than ample.

“Super friendly and helpful staff”

We had an unplanned stay here after our car broke down on the way home. The bedroom furniture was modern and comfortable. The rooms and bathrooms are very spacious. The bathroom and the building itself are a bit dated but comfortable. There was some English speaking staff and they were very helpful with checking in and finding the bus times for us. Fernando even took us to the bus station in his own car because it was pouring at the time. This is the kind of service that is above and beyond expectations and we were very grateful for that.

We arrived after a very long drive and were seeking a relaxing afternoon. We had requested a double bed but no mention of this at check in. On arrival in the room there were two small single beds with the texture of housebricks. We were too tired to comment and went to bed that night in the allotted room but slept badly and got up early the next day with backache and hip pain. After viewing the room on arrival we went to the bar/cafe area thinking to have a small snack, drink and quiet time. This was not to be. There was a stove lit and a good choice of snacks but children having left the comedor were playing loudly on the disabled slope alongside the stairs from reception to the cafe/comedor area.The children were very loud and persistent. They were behind the bar and reception as well. We went up to the room and read there, eventually going to bed. In the morning,on check out we did mention to the receptionist about the bed situation and she said that if we wanted a double bed we should have requested this when booking, but this we had done. We commented on the mattress firmness as well and we’re told they are new’ following a recent refurbishment ! The bar area was pleasant and the stove lovely but the staff seem to be rather indifferent to the comfort of the clientele. Only visit if you are already feeling strong and refreshed or totally exhausted and only want to go to bed. The communal areas are not conducive to relaxation. If you have any musculoskeletal weakness I recommend avoidance of this establishment as well since I believe the new mattresses may have been a »special «  offer. The hotel was not very expensive but really not of adequate standard.

First impression after arrival: From the outside a large and somewhat forbidding hotel as if from the old communist eastern block era in need of some love and care. But, receptionist very friendly and helpful indeed. Standard rooms fully booked but given free upgrade to suite. Excellent! Large room but furnishings dated and old fashioned. Bed very good though. Roughly 2x2 meters! Updated bathroom. Corridors very noisy. A group of youngsters was staying and they caused a racket! Room doors with old fashioned locks and doors could only be closed with a loud bang! Restaurant large but not cosy or intimate. Food (all inclusive menu of the day) ok in parts but not good in others. Staff efficient and helpful. Free parking. Handy for shopping with both a Mercadona and Lidl opposite. And, in case you need it. The local hospital is next door!
