“Cute hotel!”

Super cute hotel. Our room was pretty and clean. For us the location was excellent. You could walk everywhere. We had a car and we found easily a parking space next to the hotel. Would definitely go back again!

The hotel is on a quiet street about 250m from Puerta de Bisgra and a short walk to the centre. We had room #2 on the ground floor that had a lovely little courtyard. Some people may find the room/bathroom a bit on the small side but as with most European hotels, the size is just fine for a couple especially if you only need somewhere to sleep in and wash up. The main thing was that the room and the hotel in general was very clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. They recommended a restaurant a few steps away where we had a delicious tapas lunch. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel because we decided to have traditional churros and chocolate instead just 240m away at Kiosko Catalino (going since 1946!). Metered parking was available in the street and there is also a public carpark 200m away. We highly recommend this hotel.

“Nice but I might choose a different hotel next time”

We liked the friendly welcome we received at the hotel and the super convenient location just outside the city walls meaning it was easy to walk everywhere but also close to the escalator up to the city if you wanted to save some leg power. We liked the friendly welcome we received at the hotel and the super convenient location just outside the city walls meaning it was easy to walk everywhere but also close to the escalator up to the city if you wanted to save some leg power. The hotel was nicely decorated throughout in a modern way yet in an old building. There was easy parking outside at very reasonable cost (on-street parking). We had a balcony so we had a partial view of the city walls but it was only of the Juliet type facing the front and the street and therefore a bit noisy since one of the main roads into the city is only one street over. On a slightly negative note, the hotel was quite difficult to find as it is in a back street area with one-ways and lots of parked cars. Google got us there eventually. The bathroom was tiny, albeit beautifully presented. My husband is over six feet tall and is large so it was a struggle for him although he managed. In our opinion there is insufficient screening in the shower to prevent the water spraying outside the cubicle and there were stray hairs on the bathroom floor. I would rather the breakfast options were more straightforward with fewer pay levels and although what we had at the most basic level was lovely, it was expensive for the quantity of food we got.
