We were glad, overall, to stay in this small hotel full of local charm in the old town area of Cordoba. For our three night stay in November 2025, it was reasonably quiet, and certainly very clean. The neighborhood was pleasant, though walking with luggage on the cobbled streets was a challenge -- make sure your wheeled luggage has strong wheels due to the bumpiness. From the old city's central Zocodover Square it is almost all downhill to the hotel, and maybe 15 minutes' walking. Using the navigation feature of Google Maps on my phone, the hotel was not hard to find. But remember it is then mostly uphill back to Zocodover. We arrived and left Cordoba by train, and it's easy to get by bus from the station to and from Zocodover. Plus, the bus accepted contactless card payments, making it easy to get on and not having to figure out the payment amount. The biggest disappointment of the hotel was the EUR 10 breakfast -- the quality was good, but the variety wasn't . Since breakfast was not included in the price of our rooms, we paid the 10 EUR extra per day, and conveniently at reception at checkout. The set menu includes great orange juice, coffee/tea, and toast with any of ham or bacon or jam/butter, plus a piece of fruit. Microwave eggs and a few other items were available at extra cost. Breakfast started at 8:00, so keep that in mind if you need to get somewhere super early in the morning. There are no bars/cafeterias super nearby where you could go for breakfast instead of the hotel, at least that we discovered. Also, keep in mind that, like so many old city hotels in Spain, your room may not have a window to the outside. We did not try the air conditioning or heat, so we cannot comment on effectiveness or noise. Both the breakfast room and reception staff were helpful and pleasant. Would we stay there again? Yes.

The hotel is situated at the top of the medieval town. Navigated through cobbled streets. Its an authentic place with good value. Extremely clean and very comfortable. The hotel is situated at the top of the medieval town. Navigated through cobbled streets. Its an authentic place with good value. Extremely clean and very comfortable. Parking is an issue as you would expect but can be arranged on a first come first served basis in the garage car park. If you have a big car or not comfortable with narrow streets don't bother. The staff are friendly and the place is in the hot-spot area of town. Full of charm.

This is an old school hotel in a quiet neighborhood of the city of Toledo. It is a five minute walk to the Cathedral and maybe ten minutes walk to the Plaza Zocodover. I really liked this hotel and the ownership was very accommodating and friendly. The rooftop view is not to be missed. Buy a bottle of wine and some cheese and go upstairs to watch the sun go down and the Cathedral lights come on. Best show in town and its free! The only week area at the Santa Isabel is the breakfast. Not much choice and not very interesting or tasty. Sufficient is the best I can say about it. But everything else was just wonderful. Try to get the room with the Cathedral view. It is well worth a few extra bucks.
