Perfect for even 2 families, has the greatest value for price. The location is excellent, bus and metro station is close, there is a small grocery store really close, with all necessary food, plus there is a frozen fish and seafood store close too, you can make an excellent dinner with these. The apartment was not as great-looking as it is in the photos, but otherwise, everything was great.

“Spacious, bright apartment”

Booked this apartment for 2 people on a 5 night stay in Gracia, Barcelona. Brother had booked a pick up taxi with the apartment company to pick us up from the Barcelona airport for €39. Booked this apartment for 2 people on a 5 night stay in Gracia, Barcelona. Brother had booked a pick up taxi with the apartment company to pick us up from the Barcelona airport for €39. Our flight was delayed by 2 hours or so, poor guy had to wait for us! He didn't speak any English. Was some miscommunication with the staff over the phone when trying to locate the driver, as he was waiting in a different area outside the airport. Would've been better to just take a taxi to the check in area (which is not at the apartment, but a separate location 15m drive from the apartment) €300 was taken for a deposit. Apartment was pleasantly large - it felt like two apartments joined together. We were in apartment 29, top floor of the building. The lift was amusing to use - it felt like something out of a Wes Anderson film! Little, wooden and crickety with a metal gate. Apartment itself was bright, spacious with good kitchen amenities. Two balconies, one south facing and was lovely to sit out in the morning whilst enjoying our breakfast or do some private sunbathing. We appreciated the little welcome package with soaps, shower cap, kitchen essentials like washing up liquid, sponge, scourer, dish towel for drying. Would be fantastic if they included some washing up tablets/powder for the washing machine. Plenty of clean towels of assorted sizes were provided folded neatly on our beds. No drying clothes horse for laundry so had to call the main office who sent a staff member over in the next hour to drop it off. Would be handy to have a washing up basket of some sort to transport clean, wet clothes to hang them up to dry on the balcony. Staff were helpful and accommodating over the phone. One side of the apartment's power blew out but member of staff came along to fix it promptly. Was disappointing to have a broken sun lounger chair on the terrace - would've been good to sunbathe on it. The other chairs sufficed. Lovely having a decent sized kitchen to cook in and store tasty Spanish treats and fruit in the fridge. Was given a Welcome Pack of teabags, instant coffee, sugar, salt and pepper and also little cute bottles of olive oil and sherry vinegar. A thoughtful touch! Would have liked to have a few drinking mugs to enjoy our tea in, though. Used the glass IKEA pint glasses instead. WiFi is available, however a little laggy and slow at times. Noticed some white paint splatters everywhere in the apartment, most likely recently been spruced up with a lick of paint. Spacious main bathroom with shower, toilet and sink with storage facilities. Shower pressure was fantastic, it might be nice for the staff to install some shelving to place your shower/hair products on though. Hairdryer was useless and felt like someone was just blowing hot air gently on my hair - I recommend you take your own travel hair dryer. Another smaller bathroom nearby but felt more cramped. Always handy to have two bathrooms, though! Spanish plugs are two prongs instead of the UK 3 prong - bring some adaptors if you need to charge devices. They did supply us with one adapter in the drawer when I mooched around in the living room. Very comfortable sofa bed in the main living room, TV (mostly Spanish dubbed stuff), lots of storage cupboards for items and extra hangers for clothing. 2 Irons and ironing board available. Air conditioning was good on hotter days. Bro had the double bedroom on north side of the apartment, he mentioned it was noisy at night with traffic and there seemed to be a tarpaulin over the roof rattling around, making it sound like it was raining constantly. I had the room on the south facing side, it was very quiet and was more comfortable once I pushed the two single beds together to make a double. Slightly stained bedding and sheets - I do suffer from dust allergies and they did flare up on a daily basis but I was fine when I left the apartment. Apartment is a 30 min walk from Placa Catalunya. Metro and bus lines available near by within a short walking distance. Boutique shops and restaurants near by. Lots of little shops near by and supermarkets (supermercados) We chose this self catering apartment with the kitchen as I have a peanut (nut) allergy and wanted to have the freedom to cook some meals. We confirmed on at check in we would be checking out for 1pm, however, house keeping knocked around 11.30am so some miscommunication with the staff there. No house keeping service happened in the duration of our stay. Would be fantastic if there was an English copy of the contract written and how to check out of the apartment - we phoned up and they explained to just leave the keys on the table.

“Great place, some details could be improved to be super good.”

Hosepipe shower was broken so it was very difficult to take a shower. Without that, great place to stay, great view, very calm, comfortable. The metro is 15min in walk, closed to the diagonal. We were happy to get this location.
