“Value for money business hotel”

Good infrastructure, very friendly staff, quick check in/out. Good reception with coffee. Room something small. Improvement opportunity: TV has not many international channels. I would stay there again.

We were a group staying for a week, and we were all very disappointed in this hotel. overall this place is okay ish but certainly not a 4*. The worst is the staff. They were rude and unhelpful. We had dinner one night and the waiter refused to take our drink order first and insisted to take the food order first, he didn’t come back for the drinks. We had to wait for his colleague later on to pick up where he had left. Upon arrival, one of us asked for a quiet room, and was told that if there was any noise, it would be because of our group. By that time, no one from our group had arrived at all, so the remark was totally inappropriate. Then another colleague was in front of the door at 7 AM to get breakfast and was told off by a member of staff who had to open the door on time. I would not recommend this hotel, at least not for business purpose

The hotel is about 45 minutes away from The Barcelona centre, I would advise you to get a rental car as it would be easier to get around and there is free parking at the hotel. The hotel is about 45 minutes away from The Barcelona centre, I would advise you to get a rental car as it would be easier to get around and there is free parking at the hotel. I also didn’t see any cab/ bus stations close by so once again I would advise to get a rental. The hotel is 2/3 stars at best. Very basic rooms with pretty much no lighting. The beds do have wheels so they might move around a bit. There’s nothing in the minibar fridge but water which is free. The air condition doesn’t really blow that much air so the room can become warm quite quickly which is uncomfortable and the windows open no more than 3cm (safety feature). We got breakfast included but to be honest was worthless as the breakfast wasn’t up to par. I think it’s a European thing but the eggs weren’t well done so they were a bit runny. You have scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, bacon, sausages and quiche to choose from; besides that there’s 3/4 different types of croissants and 3/4 different types of bread. There’s ham and cheese, cereal and fruit. So there’s not a lot to choose from in all honesty. Do be careful, when we booked the hotel we asked for a double bed, but were given a room with 2 single beds :/ I had to go back to the check in desk to rectify this. We were given a room on the 3rd floor with a decent view. It does take a while to check in I believe it took us about 15mins to get through it all. Besides this, the room was (basic) cleaned every day. I think a few bits can be done to make this hotel a solid 3+ stars, renovations of the room, more lighting in the rooms, better quality of breakfast and definitely more attention to the grounds as I had to look beyond the dusty car park daily to find my decent view from my window. I won’t be returning just because we know what we like and this wasn’t it :)

My husband and I stayed here for one night as a stop off treat at the end of a lovely holiday road tripping Spain and France. We were attended to by a friendly reception man who sorted us out quickly and we went off to our room. We had booked a superior room 116 EURO, the description included a terrace looking over Granolla. There was no terrace and the room had a far view but overlooked the car park and roads. We went to complain and reception gave us another room, no terrace and similar outlook. Went back to reception, the guy said a terrace is a flat space to see out of the window, I looked the meaning up online and showed him. He then asked me to send a picture & description of the room by email and he would ring the director. To cut a long story short we were offered the original room for same price as a double as no other rooms available, we agreed, but took an hour to sort. The superior room was big but in sections, the bed was very comfortable and big. The decor was a bit tired, scraped wall paper, old tables, but we were happy to be settled in. Now the restaurant, we arrived to early for dinner (our fault) and went back once open. The restaurant was very quiet, nobody for dinner just a couple of people having snacks at the bar. We went to a table with a lovely out look, the waiter came over and asked us to move as it wasn't a table for two it was for four. There were four tables by the window set up for 4 people, the 2 seater tables were in the middle of the bigger ones, and by pillars, not romantic at all! I asked as its not busy ( we were the only ones in) could we possibly sit at the window, he refused and jestured us to the 2 seater. A second waiter was arguing with our waiter clearly asking him to let us sit there but he wouldn't. Very arrogant man. We didn't want to spend good money having a 3 course meal at a area with no atmosphere, so we moved over to the bar area and had a bar meal from there. There loss at the end of the day, and the restaurant was still empty when we left! All in all this place is nothing special and not 4 star. Will not return.
