“good but unfriendly”

I'm writing this review while waiting for check in at El Prat Airport to return back home after a stay of four nights at this hotel,during my visit to Barcelona;I booked this hotel on booking.com as the price of 35Euro/night seemed attractive for me considering the fact that a decent three star hotel in and around Barcelona is about 50 Euro/night or even more;Barcelona is for the moment a city of great attraction for tourists from all over the world and I noticed also many American tourists;my decision relied on relatively good reviews on TripAdvisor and the fact that it has a direct train connection with the city center and the airport of El Prat;I arrived on May 17th in the evening around 10 pm;the guy from the reception gave me the room card immediately and I went to my room;the room has a pleasant look,something of a 2 stars plus of Western European standards;although basic,everything looks new and is funtioning;the room is relatively small but that is not a problem as the beds are in good condition with good matrassess;there is a flat screen TV but only with Spanish channels,so it is useless for all who don't understand Spanish;there is a closet,a half table and a plastic chair and the room has a central A/C through the wall ,which was not neccessary as it was not hot at all;sometimes it started alone and blew cold air,but I finally disconnected it;the bathroom is at most 4 square meters but all sanitary objects are new and everything is functioning;there is no hair dryer and the shower has a curtain which other tourists noticed to,so if you don't shower carefully,you might end up by spreading the water in the whole bathroom;I can say that I had a good rest in this hotel as it is in a quite side street,just one night I faintly heard some guests having a strong argue in the middle of the night;the breakfast is not included in the price;however they offer from Monday to Thursday for 3 Euro some kind of mini breakfast consisting of a coffee,butter,jam and pastries;there is a poster announcing the breakfast but it is written only in Spanish;I guess there is also juice included but they didn't tell me of it; there are two guys at the reception,one in the morning,the other in the afternoon;the guy in the morning came and prepared the coffee and he just asked if I wanted milk in the coffee;both guys were rather unfriendly and stiff and I suspect that they were unfriendly with me as they noticed that I came from Romania and they have strong prejudices towards Eastern Europe;I say this as on Thursday morning there came two Spanish guys to breakfast and there were served with an extra cup of milk and a cup of juice in addition to what they offered me and I guess for the same price; the hotel is in the small town of LaLlagosta which belongs to the metro area of Barcelona;there is a very good train connection to Barclona with the R2 Nord line and the Passeig de Gracias station is just 5 stops away in the very heart of Barcelona very near to the Casa Batlo,a huge attraction;ticket costs 2,50 Euro one way to the city center and 4,10 Euro to the airport with the same train;all in all I was content of choosing this hotel but I recommend tourists who want to stay there to enquire exactly about breakfast and everything because they are very proud of Bing Spaniards and are very reluctant to speak English even if they can speak to a certain amount ;by the way,I almost forgot:the room was clean ,the maid fixed it every morning but didn't change the towels during my stay;however she was very friendly as I suppose she saw how proper I was and on the third day she left me some additional shampoo and shower gel ,for which I thank her for ! wifi was relatively good,however it was better in the morning but on two evenings I couldn't use the Internet properly;
