Our family has returned to Dunas Playa for the past 18 years once a year and in some cases twice a year due to their great service and services. The apartments are very well located and the shared facilities such as the pool, restaurant and mini market are all adequate. We’ve always had a great time at Dunas Playa and would recommend it :)

“Tranquil haven”

Firstly, location is stunning, literally on Migjorn beach. Our room (26) was second floor and we had a stunning view of the med, and beach was literally a 1 minute walk. Apartment itself was large: 1 bedroom with a cozy bed, average size bathroom with a nice shower, kitchen corner with 2 burners and a fridge. This was the only disappointment, as burners were too small to really cook anything on, plus kitchen equipment was limited and poor. Large terrace was the highlight however and made up for the kitchen. We spent a lot of time out here, especially at sunset. There was a table with 4 chairs and a sun lounger. Stunning views out over s blue and turquoise sea, Pirata Bar just in front of you. There’s a small market, which is stocked with lots of useful items and not too terribly overpriced, considering the location. There is also a restaurant, which has great food and priced perhaps a little on the high side, but again consider the location. The infinity pool was gorgeous although a little too chilly to use in April. Staff, from reception to store to restaurant and even the cleaners, were great, nothing was too much for them and they went out of their way to make sure we had a great stay. For 80 euros a night, we found it be excellent value given the location and staff. Yes, rooms are a bit basic: no TV, no telephone, but we didn’t mind one bit. The area was quiet, restaurants were either only open on weekends, or not at all, as the season has yet to begin. But we found this to be a positive, as the beach was so deserted. We’ll definitely be back.

We come here for years and tend to return as often as possible. Our kids made their first foot steps on the island, now they are off school. Las Dunas Playa is at the perfect location at Formentera , remote but close to the beach, everything you need for a relaxed holiday is close by. The appartments are equiped ok, could be a bit more. And especially Pedro with his team are hosts I can really recommend.

Stayed in a 2 bed apartment with sea view. Literally 30 metres from the most beautiful fine white sandy beach and warm turquoise sea that was so calm, shallow and warm. It is a breathtaking shoreline with incredible sunsets every evening. There are several beachside restaurants (La Fragata was our favourite) within easy walking distance of our apartment. The staff at Las Dunas were so friendly and helpful. There is also a well stocked supermarket on site which sells delicious fresh bread and pastries every morning Three days a week there a pool side ocean-view yoga sessions. I highly recommend a stay at Las Dunas for a slice of paradise.
