“Best Kept Secret of the Town”
Book a solo room with pilgrim rate, which is only half of the rack rate (please email to request). The view from the window of tiny ex-monk room is the cathedral itself. “Delightful stay”
A delightful mediaeval monastery just across the road from the cathedral of Santiago de Compostela. Full of atmosphere,lots of relaxing areas and spaces to explore. Rooms are small but have all required amenities,beautiful windows and writing desk.

I have stayed here at least four times and this time I stayed in the Albergue section as opposed to the hotel. There’s not a lot of difference other than it’s less well maintained.
