“Nice hotel in very good location with a very friendly reception !”
The location is great, about 5 minutes by foot to the Monastery of El Escorial. Service is very friendly and willing to help. Rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet. Beds are very comfortable. “Comfortable and friendly”
Stayed a few nights and enjoyed the friendly reception staff although the dining room wasn´t quite as good. Well situated close to the monastery and defineately a get away from the overpowering heat of Madrid in August.

“Good situated and easy to find”
A nice hotel on walking distance to the historic building. Enough big room, but with not sufficient light. Air conditioning didn’t work properly. Well equipped bathroom. Good breakfast. Garage in the basement.

“Breakfast... to go”
We just dropped in for breakfast on Sunday morning. Hardly any guest but service stressed and unfriendly. Toast, croissant, coffee correct. Two orange juices in two different glasses of different sizes (I generously gave the bigger one to my wife). They don’t make you feel welcome
