An out of the way stop, on your travels through Spain, made this find a treat! There are beautiful grounds and the breakfast was delicious, with plenty to select from. The hospitality and personal attention as customers was outstanding. Just to rest outside your room, in their plaza type area, under the stars and night lights, was a delightful experience. One can really rest here during sightseeing for a day or two.

“Hacienda experience”

This was my first time that I opted to stay in a hacienda but won't be my last. The room was nicely decorated and the bed was comfortable too. This was my first time that I opted to stay in a hacienda but won't be my last. The room was nicely decorated and the bed was comfortable too. The bathroom was better than I expected with all necessary toiletries, extra facial tissues etc. The lounge/ living area very welcoming and beautiful. The surrounding grounds absolutely awesome. Next time I will wear more comfortable shoes because from the parking area to the reception there is quite a walk and the grounds are slightly uncomfortable to even carry the suitcase without breaking its wheels.

There are pluses and minuses in this place: PLUSES: The place looks really nice - it is old olive farm turned into the hotel and renovated. The territory is spacious, landscape design is amazing, all hotel staff is always nice and welcoming. MINUSES: 1) It's marked that the place is available for the tourists with dogs, but no information that it is a big German shepherd male dog and two little female dogs (one had a period) live there. Although we didn't meet the problem with our male dog, but mostly all the time our dog spent inside the room to avoid possible conflict with the shepherd. That would be great if hotel informed us about it in advance (in the moment of booking, for example), so we would probably change our preferences of hotel then. 2) When we stayed in the hotel it was a wedding ceremony. The hotel informed us in advance (not in the moment of booking but just several days before arrival - so it was late for us to change our plans and book some other place instead). I didn't sleep all the night because of loud music, but I should say that music was nice:) And there were some broken glass in front of our room entrance after the wedding night and up to our departure in two days, so we were a bit worry for our dog paws. 3) Smell. Guys, you need to do something with it. It was terrible. First, that was really bad smell from sewage in one morning - the smell was all around the territory, even inside the room, so we left the hotel as soon as we can for visiting Sevilla. But to the evening smell of sewage disappeared and it was ok. At the very first night we also discovered the other source of bad smell that was local dog's poo just in from of our windows. (Sorry, it was not our dog, because, first he is leashed and second, we always use a bag). The odour was so strong so we needed to close the windows and at the next day my husband needed to trash it away by himself, because noone from the hotel didn't care. 4) Breakfasts were really poor. As a vegetarian I had only bread and apples. There were some green sliced tomatoes one morning, but all other mornings there were just bread, cheese, sliced sausages, apples, jams, coffee and packed apple juice.
