“Fantastic Hotel”

All the staff were helpful and friendly. Very clean throughout the hotel and room. Breakfast was amazing, with plenty of choice Well located with 15 to 20 minute walk to the beach

The hotel is very new, spotlessly clean, and represents excellent value for a short stay. Beds are comfortable with crisp white linens, good toiletries, and the stylish, usable bathrooms have plenty of shower space. Public areas are cool and contemporary with a youthful, Scandi vibe. Staff are friendly and speak English. While our room 414, is dark due to its internal aspect, this doesn't matter to us given the price of the room and the short time we spend in it. A kettle and fridge mean that in room snacks and hot drinks are available. Breakfast is fine if slightly limited but again, represents great value given the overall price of the room. Some noise from upstairs but earplugs for sleeping can negate this. Good A/C system keeps the room cool. Slight downside is lack of suitcase space. The location is great. Take the C6 airport bus to Luceros and it's a 10 minute walk from there. Next door is an excellent little resturant featuring a Menu Da Dia for 12 euros.

What we liked: The hotel is in a great location, on a quiet street, and you can easily reach the main attractions on foot. Both the hotel and the room were exceptionally clean. The breakfast was high quality and very delicious. The bathroom toiletries were also of very high quality. The reception staff were kind and helpful, and they fulfilled our request by the next day. We also appreciated that the hotel allowed us to store our luggage safely after check-out, so we didn’t have to carry our bags around the city until our evening flight. What we didn’t like: The room was not like the one shown in the pictures. I understand that we booked the cheapest option, but the photos showed a bright room, while the one we received was on the ground floor and felt very dark, facing an inner courtyard (lightwell). There wasn’t even a terrace door to step outside, which made it feel quite closed in. Fortunately, we didn’t spend much time in the room. There was only one blanket for the two of us, which was a bit strange. The receptionist arranged an extra one for the next day, but it was surprising that there was no spare bedding readily available in the hotel. The mattress was also very soft for me, and I had back pain in the morning. We also missed having an outdoor common area. It would have been nice to sit outside in the evening, but we were told that the terrace was closed. The fire doors in the hallway were slammed during the night and early morning, and they were very loud. It seems that the door closers throughout the hotel need maintenance.
