“Fantastic Hotel”

All the staff were helpful and friendly. Very clean throughout the hotel and room. Breakfast was amazing, with plenty of choice Well located with 15 to 20 minute walk to the beach

My girlfriend and I had a fantastic stay here. We were greeted by lovely, friendly staff who gave us all the information we needed. The hotel is very modern, fresh and artsy. The room itself was clean, modern and perfectly suited our needs! Decent location, it’s a bit of a walk to the beach, but nothing ridiculous. The cafe downstairs is great and the pool, while small, is perfect to cool down in the heat. There are also lockers available to use for baggage storage and late checkout on availability.

Bus C6 from Airport (Euro4.60) get off at Placa de los Luceros. Turn right and walk uphill to the stone steps. It's on the right. a 3 to 5 min easy walk. I booked direct as I usually try to do. Bus C6 from Airport (Euro4.60) get off at Placa de los Luceros. Turn right and walk uphill to the stone steps. It's on the right. a 3 to 5 min easy walk. I booked direct as I usually try to do. After a long travel day from 01:00 arrived about 12:30 midday to be greeted by a very pleasant, smiley lady at reception. I was room only for 3nts. But was told if I didn't want my room serviced breakfast would be included. Of course I took this. A 50euro deposit was taken for breakages and returned. Room 301. Standard double with balcony over looking central shaft. Proper double bed, not 2 singles stuck together. V comfy. Clean sheets and pillows Massive tv a fridge and decent shower room. Aircon and reasonably quiet. Small but good for me as a solo maybe not for a romantic break. For those from the UK akin to a HI Express or IBIS. Breakfast room bright and airy with a lounge area on floor E. Breakfast pretty decent, relaxed. Good location, 10 mins to Market which I loved, 15 to sea front. V safe walking around. Alicante has a great choice of cafe's.

What we liked: The hotel is in a great location, on a quiet street, and you can easily reach the main attractions on foot. Both the hotel and the room were exceptionally clean. The breakfast was high quality and very delicious. The bathroom toiletries were also of very high quality. The reception staff were kind and helpful, and they fulfilled our request by the next day. We also appreciated that the hotel allowed us to store our luggage safely after check-out, so we didn’t have to carry our bags around the city until our evening flight. What we didn’t like: The room was not like the one shown in the pictures. I understand that we booked the cheapest option, but the photos showed a bright room, while the one we received was on the ground floor and felt very dark, facing an inner courtyard (lightwell). There wasn’t even a terrace door to step outside, which made it feel quite closed in. Fortunately, we didn’t spend much time in the room. There was only one blanket for the two of us, which was a bit strange. The receptionist arranged an extra one for the next day, but it was surprising that there was no spare bedding readily available in the hotel. The mattress was also very soft for me, and I had back pain in the morning. We also missed having an outdoor common area. It would have been nice to sit outside in the evening, but we were told that the terrace was closed. The fire doors in the hallway were slammed during the night and early morning, and they were very loud. It seems that the door closers throughout the hotel need maintenance.
