“Fabulous hotel”
Great location just one street back from the port . Beautiful building , classy interior . Rooms were gorgeous , lovely dressing area , big bathroom and great shower. Massive bed that was so comfortable . The rooftop bar was lovely for an evening drink but unfortunately most of it is in the shade… more

“Good rooftop bar”
A really nice rooftop bar, the food and drinks were great (especially the pulled pork brioche) as were views of the castle. Service was a little slow but we didn’t mind as the weather was nice to sit out in.

“Wonderful views”
This is a tasteful modern renovation of a historic building done with sensitivity. My room was spacious and airy with totally silent air con. Housekeeping was outstanding - everything kept spotless and fresh. Daily water is a nice touch. Reakdast had a wide choice of buffet or made to order dishes… more

Decent hotel in a good location. Reception staff pleasant and helpful. Good views from front and back of hotel, Unfortunately there is a few rooms at the side, one which was ours,that look at a brick wall 3 metres away that pigeons use as a toilet and the highlight of our view was watching one nest… more
